  My daughter started in 2021 in the baby room and has grown up at Hillcrest. My baby now also attends and our kids are safe, loved, and cared for and I can go to work and feel at ease. One of my favorite things is the kids are always going outside to play, and get dirty and explore. Hillcrest has teachers who have been there for 5+ years some 25+ years and when you walk in everyone greets you and your kids by name - it's like a big family.

  My child has been attending Hillcrest for two years now. We love this place. They have humane family oriented aspects like the guaranteed start date and Parent’s Night Out. They have major valued added features for us like all meals/snacks provided, updates throughout the day, better than regulation ratios, a mental health consultant on staff and just have fun family events. They also have not had classroom closures due to staffing for as long as we’ve been attending which can’t be said for a lot of centers. Everyone knows us and says hi as we walk through the center which makes us feel seen and cared for. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for stable, reliable, quality child care.

  Hillcrest is an extension of my family. It is a place I know my kids are safe and loved. I'm so blessed to have found a caring place where each child can be there own person and grow into confident people who will make a positive difference in the world. Hillcrest offers a great food program, loving long-term staff, social emotional curriculum to support child development, and a director with a passion to see all children have a great high quality early childhood education. They also get the kids outside everyday and get to play in the dirt . My kids get to be kids here.

  We have been with Hillcrest Children's Center for 6 years and I could not ask for a better facility to care for my children. The staff are extremely caring and treat the child as one of their own family. When I first walked into the facility 7 years ago when we were expecting our first child. We were interested in Hillcrest as they were one of the few facilities in Anchorage that accepted cloth diapers. The moment I walked into the center, I immediately felt comfortable and welcome. I knew in my heart it was the right place for our children. Many of the staff that cared for our first child are still there today and are caring for our second child. I love the consistency and that they have cared for both our children equally and lovingly. The Hillcrest community has been an extension of our family. I highly recommend Hillcrest Children's Center for child care.
