  I am so grateful to have found Zion Lutheran Preschool. Since moving my daughter here, she has been much happier and less anxious since transferring than she was at her previous day care. I love that they have thoughtful preschool curriculum but also offer coverage for a full work day. Everyone on staff is kind and engaged. I feel like my daughter is getting excellent academic preparation for kindergarten and is making sweet memories and friends.

  Zion Lutheran Preschool is the best I've seen, and my daughter has been going for almost a full year. With summer watch and a completely flexible schedule, it has been an answer to prayer for us! My daughter loves it, she only goes 3 days a week but wants to go all 5. She is learning so much, making friends, and I'm confident she is safe and well taken care of. The teachers are great, and the curriculum is well thought out and skillfully taught. Prices are affordable, the class size is still small, security is adequate with locked doors and such, the outdoor recess area is fenced and controlled, every Wednesday is Chapel, enrollment is simple, communication is top notch. Thank you guys!!

  We have had such a wonderful experience at Zion so far! I love their flexibility, attention to detail, and my daughter has had a great time making new friends. I really appreciate that they offer both full-time and part-time options, and the part-time is hourly based. Highly recommend to toddler parents that have a new baby— both my toddler and baby are happier now that my toddler is having more fun outside the home. Also, the teacher to student ratio is really low, so the kiddos are getting lots of care and attention.

  Zion Lutheran Preschool was such a wonderful experience for my son. He received such individualized attention from the Teacher (Ms. Piper) and the teacher's aids (Ms. Melinda, Mr. Elijah, and Mr. Shane), that he was reading by the end of Pre-K 4. The crafts that the preschool conducted were imaginative and explored a variety of sensory and age-appropriate developmental skills. My son was well equipped for kindergarten because of the instruction given at Zion. Our son also loved the Bible circle time, especially when they got to role play and act out various stories. It really helped him learn in a hands-on manner important lessons from the Bible. The staff at Zion is so caring. They truly love the kids and are really invested in their well-being. It was a wonderful experience for our family, and highly recommend for parents seeking care for their children.

  Anchor Lutheran- Zion campus has been a great preschool for my children. The staff provide a lot of one on one support for my child. Ms Piper is amazing, so calm and has a genuine caring for the kids. My four year old has advanced in this child care program and will be ready for kindergarten. I recommend this facility to everyone who asks about a preschool in Anchorage

  My son loved his pre school. Just telling him it was a school day put a smile on his face in the morning. Ms.Piper and staff are still topics in our house. Attention to learning was big as our son was reading at 3. They helped stoke his hunger for learning thx again. Baker family
