I would not recommend Big Blue Marble Academy, especially the infant program. My child started at 8 months old and was placed in the wrong classroom (Infant One) for about a month and a half, even though she should have been in Infant Two. That meant she missed out on the appropriate curriculum and developmental activities for her age, including important motor skill development. On top of that, I had ongoing issues with basic care. My child was often picked up with a dirty, crusted nose that had not been wiped throughout the day. As a parent, that is the bare minimum I expect, and it was consistently not done. I also repeatedly asked staff to keep socks on my child, but my concerns were ignored. Another major issue was that the daycare lost all of my child’s belongings. I brought this up multiple times, but nothing was properly resolved. Communication was also very frustrating. I called frequently to address these concerns, but I felt like I was not being heard. Staff members, including Davida and AJ, were not honest in their responses, which made the situation even worse. Additionally, Davida had a noticeable attitude when I would check on my child, which made me uncomfortable as a parent. Overall, between the lack of proper care, poor communication, misplaced belongings, and incorrect classroom placement, my experience with the infant program was very disappointing. I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider these issues before enrolling their child here. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would.

Working with children is not an easy job even though it looks like it. I've been there. Thanks for all that you and your staff do for our community AJ. Keep up the good work!
Karen CarrMar 6, 2026I honestly can’t say enough good things about the preschool my kids attend. From the first time we visited, I just knew it was the right fit. The teachers are incredible so kind and really dedicated to making sure every kid feels seen and heard. They don’t just teach; they really get to know the kids and help them grow in such a positive way. What I love most is how much fun the kids have while learning. It’s not just about hitting academic milestones; it’s about sparking their curiosity and creativity. Whether it’s hands-on activities, games, or storytime, there’s always something that gets them excited to come to school every day. I can already see how much more confident my kids are, not just in their abilities, but in themselves. Another big reason I’m so grateful for this school is the sense of community. It feels like a little family, and I really appreciate how open and communicative the teachers are with me about how my kids are doing. I never feel out of the loop, and if I ever have any questions or concerns, I know I can always reach out. At the end of the day, it’s not just a place for them to learn, it’s a place where they’re truly cared for. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such a great environment, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice we made.
Patrice O'NealApr 28, 20251 year after my original rating, I still give a 5 star rating! Our 2-year old son is always happy to go to school and always has a smile on his face when we check him out. That speaks volumes to us! The Director and front desk staff are attentive to both my child and myself when in their presence. Always cheerful, good customer service skills with parents, and it appears the new director is making positive changes at the school!
