GIGI SCHOLARS ACADEMY

Unfortunately, my recent experience at Gigi Scholars Academy has raised serious concerns for me. My 7-month-old daughter has a hernia. On a day I was unable to bring her pacifier until my lunch break, I was told she was being fed repeatedly to keep her quiet. Overfeeding an infant — especially one with a medical condition — is not an appropriate solution to soothing a baby. After I raised concerns about that, I began noticing the opposite issue — my daughter coming home appearing underfed and not receiving consistent feeding support. There should never be inconsistency when it comes to a baby’s basic care. I have also observed temperatures being taken on the neck area near jackets, which does not align with standard, accurate methods for checking for fever. Health checks should be done properly, especially when they impact a parent’s ability to stay at work. Because of these concerns, we will be finding a new and better school — one that understands single parents have to work, communicates clearly, and truly takes pride in caring for the children entrusted to them. Advocating for your child isn’t being “difficult.” It’s being a parent. And I will always choose my child first.

Place came highly reviewed but after enrolling my kids, I disagree. No updates through the app (nap time, eat, potty, play time), just messages. Mishaps on teachers behalf, that could’ve been avoided with a chat. Admins saying one thing and then going back on their word. Overall poor communication with some staff but there are some that love their job. Much room for improvement, just dislike the way things are done.

I love the atmosphere. They are loving with kids. So good to them.

My kids absolutely love this place! I never had an issue with them here!
