  Teacher turnover was excessive in the three months our child was enrolled. Only one employee there paid attention to and was in tune with our child's needs. Our child got hurt repeatedly, and one event resulted in an ER visit which was reported to licensing. Personnel were so overworked that they were constantly getting sick and worn out. Teachers seemed to pick and choose which kids they wanted to watch and pay attention to. The owner of the facility restricted admin from viewing the camera footage of the children, yet the owner was not present when personnel were short due to excessive turnover. When we went to pull our child from the school, they did not bother to ask why or seem concerned or wonder why our child had been gone from the school for four days.

  The Ark Academy is so much more than a daycare — it is truly family. From the very first day, they welcomed our daughter as if she were one of their own, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. After extremely painful experiences at other daycares, we had almost completely lost our trust. We were anxious, worried, and honestly scared to try again. But The Ark Academy changed everything for us. Their kindness, the way they embraced our daughter immediately, and the comfort they gave us during those early days meant more than words can express. I can go through my day stress-free because I know she is safe, loved, and cared for beyond anything we expected. She lights up when we arrive each morning and often doesn’t even want to come home — and that alone shows how special this place truly is. We are deeply thankful for every teacher, every smile, every update, and every moment of love they pour into these children. The Ark Academy has restored our peace of mind and renewed our faith in childcare. We feel truly blessed to have found them. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t just care for your child but treats them like family, The Ark Academy is truly the best.

  Since we started our kiddos are thriving. Our two sons attend their program. One is in the after school program and is happy to attend each day. Staff help him with homework so once we are home we can have quality family time. Our toddler runs to school each morning excited to see his teachers. Turn over is low. Teachers are happy. The Director, Ms. Tina is always around helping staff and supporting families any way she can!

Serious allegations of discriminatory behavior by staff toward children came to light, leading to a complete turnover of the faculty we once trusted. The lack of honesty from ownership regarding these issues made it impossible for us to stay. ​The "Hidden Gem" we found a year ago is gone. We have moved our son to Olive Grove Nature School for a more transparent and stable environment. #### Old review A Hidden Gem and Absolute Godsend! Our family moved from NYC two years ago and spent months searching for the right fit for our kids. We tried several programs, including the most “prestigious” ones, but kept running into the same problems: overcrowded classrooms, burnt-out teachers, and children desperate for attention. We were close to giving up hope until we toured ARK Academy. From day one, it’s been a blessing. The staff is caring, patient, and clearly loves what they do. Meals are cooked fresh on site, the facility is spotless and spacious, and we get constant photos and daily updates. The 2:12 teacher-to-child ratio ensures every child gets the attention they deserve. Security is excellent. Doors stay locked, and each parent or guardian has a unique PIN code. There’s also a private sensory/therapy room where teachers can help kids work through big emotions one-on-one away from their peers. ARK focuses on emotional growth just as much as learning. The directors, Tina and Kristen, are kind, hands-on, and deeply involved. The teachers are wonderful patient, engaged, and full of heart. Our four year old literally runs into school each morning shouting how much he loves his teachers. ARK also offers soccer, basketball, and summer extras like Kona Ice, a petting zoo, and outdoor water play. Cons: No traditional playground, but that also means fewer accidents or conflicts. The kids stay active with bikes, balls, and games like red light/green light. If you’re looking for a loving, structured, and truly special environment for your child, ARK Academy is it. It’s the hidden gem of Bentonville, and we’re incredibly grateful to have found it.

  We’ve been at The Ark since my son was three months old and, now a toddler, he runs in everyday thrilled to be with his friends and teachers. Everyone here is truly part of our village and is a major contributor to my son’s childhood in all of the best ways. Being a working parent is hard and I can’t express how wonderful it is to truly trust and respect your childcare, while also knowing your child is getting hands on curriculum that he wouldn’t necessarily get at home.
