I love this learning center! My kids adore the teachers and always look forward to going each day. They really enjoy all the activities, and it’s clear the staff puts a lot of care into creating a fun, engaging environment for them to learn and grow. Highly recommend!
Michelle SertichMar 9, 2026We have had our daughter enrolled since she was an infant and have had a great experience, she loves going to school every day and I feel like that says it all. The teachers and staff have been the same (besides teachers just moving rooms) which I feel like also speaks to the program being solid. It makes me feel better knowing my daughter has the same teachers and that they’ve been there for years.
Melinda MoellerMar 9, 2026We love Calvary ELC! Our son is always so excited to go to “school”. The staff are extremely kind and care about each child. This is our first experience using childcare and couldn’t be happier with the program.
Noah Minton (The Cana House)Mar 9, 2026My daughter has been attending CalvaryPHX ELC for more than two years, and it has been nothing but a positive experience for her and for our family. We are so grateful for their communication app, which allows us to see photos of her and her curriculum focus for the day. She is engaged in meaningful play all day long and has so many friends. This is exactly what she needed developmentally. She loves going to school. She will be graduating from preschool soon and we will definitely be enrolling our youngest there next. The Bible-based curriculum gives us lots of opportunities for discussion at the dinner table too.
Jessica WarnerNov 18, 2025UPDATE: My child did great and no struggles or concerns. a complete 360. she was doing great just as before calvary, at a previous center. based off the newer childcare center and the assessment from the search to serve program at Washington district. she doesn’t need a 1:1 aid or a special needs program. she is not delayed as calvary director assumed !SOME KIDS RESPOND better to OTHERS & LIKE OTHER ENVIRONMENTS; that is simply what it is. i mean no disrespect god bless those teachers the teachers were good my 3 year old loved her class. my 4 year old kept pointing at the director saying”shes mean” i chose to leave beacuse the admins/director wasnt always kind and professional a couple of times i had concerns. i asked questions about my child and asking what all was done so i could fully understand my daughter (what works for her and what kind of support she wasn’t responding to) and the director told me she thinks i was telling her/them how to run the class and that i think im smarter than them. i absolutely do not and was shocked that a “professional” would talk that way.i think it wouldve been a great idea and important to consider the childs parents feedback and recommendations. but instead they misconstrued my words and let it get in the way of their ego and got offended and when i clarified i didnt mean it that way i didnt get a sorry or anything positive. so if your child is special needs/is on the autism spectrum, i would not recommend this place because of the disrespect and condescending way the director spoke to me ,the other 2 admins were fine. another thing that stuck out was the director said “this isnt a special needs clinic” that is not an ok way to talk to a parent. i was navigating a special structred prek program (and wanted to keep her there after school) but was bombarded with 3 different packets they wanted me to fill out regarding my child's milestones ect. pointless when i already started the process and communicated that w them. i told the director i felt like she didnt want us there because my child was having melt downs and emotional ect . she didn’t deny it i have never gotten an apology.a good director would of tried to keep the family there and clarify if that wasnt true, yet she didnt. the communication from her did not reflect christian values, given its a christian faith based center, that is why i left. i will not tolerate being treated like that and gaslit to being a mean lady i was nice to those teachers and admins up until my last talk in office i showed the frustrated, sad and concerned parent who explained and cleared things up but still it wasnt good enough because she just had rebuddles. i have never met a director that acted like that ever. i have had my kids at a few centers.
