Catalina Methodist Day School

We have had nothing but a positive experience at Catalina. Every single teacher and staff member knows our child’s name and makes her feel safe, welcomed and supported every day. We feel like we lucked out finding this school! I honestly don’t have one bad thing to say. The food was healthy and varied. The hours are very accommodating. Our daughter’s teacher Ms. Tammie was amazing. She was always ready with new lessons and experiences every day. She is truly part of our family! Ms. Carolyn is a wonderful director and it is evident that she truly cares about every child in her school. A perfect example of everything done right!

I can't share enough about how much our family loves Catalina. The secular-play based learning environment has been perfect for both of our children's learning and confidence building. The caring staff and teachers are exceptional at communicating and collaborating, making it easy to be on the same page. The facilities are kept clean, stocked, and orderly- allowing the children to have more independence- they even have a little lending library in Ms. Carolyn's office.

This is the absolute best school in town. The teachers & staff are like family and care for our kids like their own- they never want to leave! They provide snacks & lunch and tons of extracurricular options- dance, soccer, mr nature, etc. They are non-denominational and host celebrations for every single holiday. We wouldn’t send our kids anywhere else. Our oldest is about to start kinder and her kinder teachers raved about how prepared the kids always are who went to Catalina for preschool!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Catalina Methodist Dayschool. Every teacher truly takes the time to get to know each child and their family, creating a warm and supportive environment. The director maintains high standards for both learning and care, which really shows. As a working mom, I also appreciate that my child receives a meal and two snacks each day—it’s one less thing to worry about and such a huge help. When we recently met my son’s future kindergarten teacher, she specifically commented on the strength of his writing and math skills—skills he learned right here at Catalina. We’re so grateful for the foundation this school has given him!

We are so grateful for all the teachers and staff at Catalina Methodist Day School. Over the past four years, they have created a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for both of our children. Each day, our kids are excited to go to school, which speaks volumes about the care and joy they experience there. We’ve felt welcomed and supported as parents and have loved being part of the wonderful community of families the school brings together. Catalina Methodist Day School has had a profoundly positive impact on our family, and we can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a warm and enriching place for their children to grow.
