We love CLA! Our daughter loves going here and she loves her teachers and management staff. Jen the director is incredible and has helped us in so many ways over the years. We are so grateful for them and everything they do to support their CLA families. Thank you CLA!
Abigail SmithApr 1, 2026I recommend The Learning Experience to friends looking for a daycare. My two kids were enrolled the second month they opened and we are so grateful for the amazing experience my kids have had. The staff genuinely cares about the kids and they are great at communicating In-Person and by phone/text. They have a great educational curriculum and prepare kids for kindergarten. My daughter who still attends looks forward to seeing her teachers, chef, directors when she goes in. They host events to include family throughout the year. The latest was a Halloween Pumpkin Palooza with fun games, face painting, candy. We had my children at a different daycare for several years and are grateful that we found The Learning Experience. They are much better at communicating, the staff appears to enjoy their jobs and they are attentive, kind and respectful to the children.
JillianOct 27, 2025Children’s Learning Adventure has been absolutely wonderful for our family! The staff is warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the growth and happiness of each child. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with engaging activities that make learning exciting every day. I love how they combine fun with education, my child comes home not only smiling, but also sharing new skills and stories about what they learned. I can’t recommend Children’s Learning Adventure enough!
Andrew AAug 15, 2025Children’s Learning Adventure has been such a positive experience for my family, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible director, Jenifer. She made the enrollment process unbelievably easy everything was streamlined, clear, and my daughter was able to start the very next day. I then registered my other two kids for the after school program the following week. Since then, Jenifer has gone above and beyond to accommodate every need we’ve had. I often see her actively communicating with her staff, problem solving in real time, and addressing issues with professionalism and care. She truly carries a heavy weight of the center on her shoulders, yet still greets every child and parent with warmth and patience. With the help of some amazing teachers, my daughter successfully potty trained here and continues to grow each day not just academically, but in her ability to regulate her emotions and build confidence. The staff’s dedication to her development has been nothing short of incredible, and I’m grateful for the positive, supportive environment they’ve created. Also helping me to While we did have one concern with a teacher Madison, Jenifer handled it quickly and professionally, ensuring my daughter’s experience remained overwhelmingly positive. I’ve never seen a more involved director and In my opinion, her leadership and commitment to the families she serves make all the difference in the success of this center. Don’t get me wrong… life happens, things happen. KIDS HAPPEN! But It runs well over there and Jennifer makes it run on another level of care.
PeachesislandAug 11, 2025I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old who both attend at this school, I’m picky and sure don’t like JUST anyone watching my kids, but my oldest loves it here and actually learns things! My infant is safe and has been blooming with the infant teachers! I wouldn’t want them anywhere else! Love this place!
Alicia BradleyMar 6, 2025This school deserves a review! May 2024 was when I found out my son was not safe, he never went back the next school day going forward. My son is 1, started Aug2023. His classroom was Voyager 2, but depending on the staff scheduling he would spend time in Voyager 1 also. Since our time at this daycare, we’ve had Several complaints that were brought to Ms Jenn the Director. She was very nice, she would seem to correct the issues but then issues would happen again. Issues such as SIMPLE acknowledgement when dropping my baby off in the mornings. Especially If I wasn’t familiar w staff that morning. Diaper changing, multiple times where a specific staff member would leave left over poop, she even admitted she wouldn’t clean him. Certain staff members wouldn’t give my son breakfast, (within breakfast schedules). Winter time, AFTER my son was constantly sick here with RSV/COVID staff wouldnt care that these babies were playing in the cold water getting soaked outside. The complaints I had were pretty much common sense issues, but it made me look like the parent who’s always complaining. Which shortly word got around that I must complain a lot. During our time at this facility my son has came home with 2 bruises from 2 different times! The very first bruise was UNKNOWN, on his face. NO ONE COULD TELL ME ANYTHING. I brought to the directors attention to let her know that that was unacceptable, especially w 2 staff members always watching these kids. I let that one go. The 2nd bruise was so bad that the only explanation I got was my son wasn’t listening during circle time, he was running around and fell. This bruise stayed on his face for A WHILE it was purple! At first I figured ah makes since he’s a boy. PRETTY MUCH MOST OF THE STAFF THAT WOULD WATCH MY SON WERENT VERY FRIENDLY! Ms Evelyn, Ms Amber(teacher for Voyager6), Ms Elisa. In May when I found out from a FORMER EMPLOYEE who was AMAZING with the toddlers, she brought to my attention which I WENT LOOKING FOR HER PERSONALLY, because my son needed her and I felt comfortable leaving him with her. That week she was gone, I had it! I needed to find her! So when I got a hold of her she advised Everything that was going on! My son had been slapped in the face by his main teacher in V2. These babies get pulled by their arms/dragged, slapped, and hit on their backs before nap time while crying themselves to sleep! Staff picks these babies up by their arms above these kids heads! This former employee stated it was the WORST daycare she’d ever worked for. She made the director aware along with going above Ms Jenn. And she said nothing had been dealt with! When I got more information as who the former employee reported it to, she mentioned Ms Jenn’s boss Ms Taunia (home office). I personally & my mother have met Taunia, and she is a Very Rude, Unprofessional individual who shouldn’t be working in a daycare! She profiled parents/anyone who signed in that book that were DES paid for. I made her very much aware that I didn’t like how she came off, especially since most of us parents Do Work. This facility had absolutely No Curriculum. No structure, and very chaotic. Too many different staff in and out daily, you can tell there was no communication during rotating shifts. This pretty much sums up my review, I currently am waiting for the state to wrap up their investigation. But I’m sure it doesn’t help considering that NONE of the Cameras in this facility work! My son was immediately switched, and since then luckily my son’s behavior has changed INCREDIBLY, he even ENJOYS his teachers and you can tell they care for these children! I don’t even see kids with SNOT running down their lips like I used to with CLA! My son isn’t constantly sick either, and they wash these kids hands all throughout the day! Mind you, his new daycare has received 5 parents from Children’s Learning Adventure on River within a matter of 2months!!
