We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Little Hands Big Steps! From the very beginning, the staff made us feel completely at ease — like part of a warm, welcoming family. They go out of their way to make both the children and parents feel comfortable, safe, and supported through every stage, from the initial transition all the way into daily routines. One of the things we appreciate most is how attentive and genuinely caring the staff are with each child. They pay close attention to individual needs, personalities, and developmental milestones, and it’s clear they are deeply invested in every child’s growth and well-being. The communication is excellent and always prompt, which gives us so much peace of mind throughout the day. Whether it's an update, a quick check-in, or a photo of our child smiling and thriving, we always feel informed and connected. What really stands out is how much they care — not just about the kids, but about the families, too. They take time to get to know us as parents and always make sure we feel comfortable and confident leaving our child in their care. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this daycare. It truly feels like a second home for our little one!

After a long and frustrating journey through several daycares in Yuma—where it became painfully clear that many of them didn’t truly care about children, and where we encountered directors on power trips, poor communication, and an overall lack of respect for parents—we finally found a silver lining. From the start, it was obvious that this daycare genuinely cares about children—not just their safety, but their growth, happiness, and well-being. This place is everything we hoped for and more. To be honest, I was hesitant to leave a review at first because it felt too good to be true. After so many bad experiences, we kept waiting for the other shoe to drop—but it never did. After almost 3 months, what we found instead was a place full of people who truly care. From day one, we felt heard and valued as parents. The staff is respectful, open to feedback, and never dismissive when concerns are raised. They go above and beyond not only for the kids but for the parents too. Most importantly, they truly care about the children—not just as part of their job, but as individuals with their own needs, personalities, and potential. Our daughter is treated with genuine love, patience, and understanding every single day. It’s incredibly refreshing to see a team that doesn’t give up on children and takes the time to build real relationships. Special shoutout to the director Ms. Aguilar & Esmeralda, who are just beyond great. Their leadership sets the tone for the entire daycare—they lead by example, and it shows in the way the staff interacts with families and children alike. This place has restored our trust in childcare, and we are beyond grateful for the care and kindness they show our family.

My son loves his new daycare. Everyone is so welcoming and caring. At pickup time my son always wants to stay after. I absolutely recommend this daycare

My 2 daughters attend Little Hands Big Steps. They absolutely love it. From the food to the care they are given. Martha the owner is amazing and caring. She is very nurturing and passionate about her preschool. I trust her and the teachers with my children. I would recommend this preschool to anybody.

By far hands down this place is amazing! The care, love, and learning experience that each child gets is top notch. My 3 yr old loves it and is excited to go everyday! She calls it steppy hands lol I get piece of mind knowing that my baby is not only taken care of but loved. Staff is extraordinary and A++ communication.
