Natural Choice Academy

We moved from Canada in September and it was a huge transition for our family, and honestly one of the things I was most anxious about was finding the right preschool for our daughter. Looking back now, I truly can’t imagine her anywhere other than Natural Choice Academy. When we started in September, mornings were tough. She didn’t want to get out of bed, she didn’t want to go to school, and drop-offs were heartbreaking. I left crying almost every day. Fast forward to today, and shes thrilled to go to school. She gets sad if she has to stay home from school for any reason. She’s ready to go to NCA as soon as she opens her eyes! Most mornings she barely even says goodbye because she’s so excited about the new daily activities set up and to get inside and see her teachers and friends. As a mom, there’s no better feeling than knowing your child is not only safe and loved but also truly happy when you leave them. Her teachers have been absolutely incredible. From day one they made her feel safe, loved, and so genuinely cared for. They took the time to get to know her and always have different activities set up based on what the kids are interested in. It’s so obvious how much thought, creativity, and love goes into every day. One thing I’ve really appreciated is the communication. We get regular updates and photos throughout the day, can easily chat with teachers through Slack, and have conferences to talk about our daughter’s development and growth. It really feels like we’re a team, and I always feel connected to what’s happening while she’s there. The growth we’ve seen this year has been amazing. She’s become so much more confident, brave, independent, and comfortable just being herself. It’s been such a joy to watch, and I truly believe NCA has played a huge role in helping her become the little person she’s growing into. Natural Choice Academy is so much more than a preschool. Its a family. Every single teacher and staff member genuinely loves and deeply cares for these kids, and you can feel it. We are so grateful we found this school, and I recommend it to every parent who asks.

My son started at NCA when he was two years old. I was dragging my feet about starting daycare because, honestly, I trusted no one with my child. I enrolled him at NCA with a healthy dose of skepticism. As a working mom, I wasn’t able to attend the open house before he started, which probably would have eased many of my fears. I recently attended my daughter’s open house—she’s now two and starting this fall—and for the first time I got to hear directly from the teachers about how they operate and care for the children. What I can say now is that I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else. The teachers and staff genuinely care about my son, and now I’m actually excited for my daughter to start and experience being around other two-year-olds. NCA truly feels like a family, and I’ve found that they genuinely follow through on the values and care they talk about. My son is kind, happy, playful, and learning so much—not only academically, but socially as well. Last week, one of his teachers stopped to tell me how sweet my little boy is. It absolutely melted my heart, and I honestly could have cried right there. Moments like that remind me that the teachers truly know each child as an individual. They know their personalities, their preferences, and they genuinely care about them. As a parent who was initially very hesitant about daycare, I hope this review helps reassure another family that’s feeling the same way.

There are not enough words to express how much I treasure NCA. We had our son home with us for the first year and finding a place that I felt comfortable sending him felt like a Herculean feat - and then came NCA. His classroom teachers (and frankly everyone I encountered - including the other parents) were so kind and supportive during those first few weeks/months as we adjusted and things have only gotten better since then. My son LOVES school and is so excited to see his teachers. I get to set aside at least some of my Mom guilt knowing that he is somewhere he is truly loved, appreciated, and well cared for. He gets an incredible amount of time outside and they do not shy away from messy fun, which I love! NCA is the best, hands down. I’m already sad about having to leave in 3 years.

Our family had such a wonderful experience with Natural Choice Academy. My daughter attended for Pre-K and has also returned the past two summers as an alumni camper, which says a lot about how much she loves it there. The teachers and staff were absolutely amazing. They were caring, patient, engaging, and genuinely invested in the kids. She was always excited to go each day and built so many great memories. We also really appreciated the organic meals and snacks they provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was being served quality food throughout the day. And as parents, one of the best signs of a great day was that she always came home happy, fulfilled, and completely exhausted from all the fun and activities. We are so grateful for the positive environment they created and would highly recommend Natural Choice Academy to any family looking for a nurturing and fun school/community for their child.

I have had one child graduate from NCA and my second has one more year left. They (my child)have been there for about three years. His teachers have been phenomenal, communicating openly with us parents and loving on our little one. I do not want to minimize the great work the teachers do but the success of NCA would not be possible without the work of Ms Molly (the director) and Ms Stephanie (the Asst Director). Their leadership and support of the staff and parents have been amazing and as a parent it is very reassuring to know that your child is in good hands.
