  • The teachers are amazing!

  • Like many parents, we initially felt this daycare would be the best fit for our child's needs. Unfortunately, that impression changed within the first month of enrollment. The first concerns were behavioral. After changes in teachers and our child periodically transitioning into the next classroom, we noticed significant changes at home, including frequent meltdowns, regression in social skills, and setbacks in potty training. Around this time, one of the teachers left the school, which appeared to leave the classroom with an unbalanced child-to-teacher ratio. This was also when concerns about the new classroom began. Our child repeatedly told us that the new teachers were "mean" and that they did not like being in that classroom. When we brought these concerns to the front office, we were told that the teacher simply had a firmer teaching style and that our child just needed an adjustment period. A few weeks later, a much more serious issue occurred. Due to a pre-existing medical condition, our child's eardrum ruptured during the school day, causing blood and fluid to drain from the ear. The daycare staff failed to notify us when this happened, and we did not learn about the incident until we picked our child up at the end of the day. This was a significant communication failure and one that no parent should experience. Ultimately, we want our child to receive the best possible care—not only from the teachers but also from the administrative staff. When we informed the office that we had decided to enroll our child in another daycare and explained our reasons, the response we received was deeply disappointing. We were told, "Some people need to stop coddling their kids and have a firmer parenting style." That comment, combined with our overall experience, confirmed that we had made the right decision to find a daycare where our concerns would be taken seriously and our child would be treated with the care, communication, and respect every family deserves. we loved a specific teacher and they know who they are.
