Both of my kids started daycare at Scottsdale Learning Center at Raintree (SLC) when they were around 15 months old and graduated when they were 5. Throughout those years, the staff and teachers were always attentive to every detail, passionate about caring for the little ones, and dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children could thrive at every stage of early childhood. Both of my kids benefited tremendously from SLC’s advanced pre-K program, which helped prepare them well for the rigorous kindergarten curriculum at BASIS Scottsdale. During their time at SLC, they developed curiosity, confidence, creativity, and strong social skills, while also becoming emotionally and academically ready for kindergarten. We feel incredibly grateful that we found a school where our kids truly enjoyed learning and growing. Our younger one will start first grade soon, but she still asks me to sign her up for SLC day camps whenever her school is closed — that says everything about how much she loves the teachers and the environment there. Another thing we really appreciate is the flexibility SLC offers families with nearby extended family. Whenever grandparents visited, we could easily arrange time for the kids to bond with them without worrying about paying tuition for days they were absent. If you are looking for a daycare that is affordable, flexible, and truly cares about your child’s development, SLC is absolutely one of the best choices in the area.

The teachers are caring, attentive, and loving. Miss Alaina and all the helpers have been wonderful, and our daughter knows them all by name. Miss Kara and Miss Kim (the directors) are flexible and accommodating, which we really appreciate. A big thank you to Miss Courtney for being so thoughtful and attentive with our daughter’s food allergy—it means so much to us. We truly feel at ease knowing she’s in a safe, loving environment every day. Highly recommend! 🌟

The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about each child’s development—they go above and beyond to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. My little ones come home excited, raving about the engaging activities, and playtime. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands. If you’re looking for top-notch childcare in Scottsdale, this is the spot—highly recommend! 5 stars all the way.

The staff truly care about the kids—they’re attentive, patient, and always keep me updated. My daughter has learned so much and is genuinely excited to go every morning. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming. I’m so grateful we found this place. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality care and peace of mind.
Nicole BallAug 5, 2025Best daycare ever!!! Seriously, stop looking anywhere else. The absolute love and joy in this school is unmatched. We went to a very fancy (very expensive) daycare when our first was a baby, and I wish we had started here at SCCLC. The teachers are so loving, and take such excellent care of my babies. Drop-off every day is a pleasant and happy experience because my kids are met with teachers they love and trust and know they are going to have a fun filled day. The front desk is always staffed by at least one person, it’s a well oiled machine with teachers and staff who have been a part of the school for a long time. The School Chef is an absolute beam of light, loves all the kids so much, and adores keeping them fed with a great variety of foods. I’m so thankful we found them, and you will be too!
