Tanque Verde Lutheran Preschool

Our family’s experience at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church Preschool has been deeply positive, and I feel compelled to share that perspective after reading recent reviews that do not reflect what we have personally known. TVLC has been a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for our children. The teachers we have worked with have been kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the emotional and developmental well-being of the kids. We have always felt welcomed as a family, listened to when questions arose, and supported as parents. Change is never easy in any community, and people can walk away with very different interpretations of the same season. What I can speak to with certainty is our direct experience one of care, warmth, and thoughtful education rooted in respect and compassion. Our children have felt safe, valued, and loved here, and that matters above all else. I am grateful for the teachers and staff who show up every day for these kids. Their work deserves to be seen and acknowledged.

A caring preschool who goes above and beyond for their little students. My son has learned so much already and just started this year! He loves going everyday. I love the pictures we get through the app of him during his day and the teacher is always updating us on class events and what they are up too each week. I have not been disappointed! They truly care about ALL children and follow their mission statement. So happy to have found them.

My daughter has been at TVL Preschool for the last 3 years, and we have loved it! She cannot wait for school, and even begs to spend more time there with all of the add-on classes. I have watched her grow and excel at so many things over the years, thanks to the wonderful staff. This is where we plan to send our 2nd kid when he's bigger.

My two grandchildren have been students at TVLC for the past 3 years. I have had the pleasure of going to many school functions and have witnessed the love and true appreciation for every student there. The staff and administration go out of their way to show each child how valued they are. I highly recommend this school.

My twins have been students here since 2021, starting in lambs (2yo class) and I have another daughter who is currently in lambs. I can’t express how much of a blessing this school has been to us! The twins are now in kindergarten and loving it. Every year has been amazing, learning so much and growing immensely. The preschool programs and kindergarten program are excellent! The teachers are AMAZING and go above and beyond for every student! Cari and Melissa are so kind and really work hard to make sure everyone has the best experience at Tanque Verde Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten. We highly recommend this wonderful preschool and Kindergarten!
