I think what I love the most about YMC is how much each child is valued. The signs on the windows for their birthdays. The focus on the strengths and interests of each child. The way that each team member actively listens when a parent speaks. The small victories are celebrated in each of our kids. The point is, I’m not sure I’ve ever been surrounded by a team of people so present in the details of my kid’s life and that means something. Not only do our kids feel safe and secure but so do we when we leave them in their care. The teaching staff in the preschool is amazing. Each day of the week is planned meticulously with a wide variety of learning activities that all focus on the unit theme for the week. The children are exposed to a wide variety of literature that fosters an inclusive learning environment as well as activities aimed at maximizing play while still focusing on skills needed for school. Each teacher in the preschool is highly qualified. Moreover, each is dedicated to early childhood learning and they use their unique abilities to open up a a child’s world. In Classroom Two, a gentle approach that pushes each child to believe in themselves. In Classroom Three, a magical world of wonder that awakens a spark in each child. Finally, in the Classroom Four an encouraging and gentle atmosphere full of new expectations, to prepare them for what comes next. We are so grateful to have found the YMCC preschool for our twins. The facility is always perfectly clean and well-maintained, which gives us great peace of mind. The environment is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to support learning and creativity. The teachers have created a safe and nurturing space where our children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn each day. What we appreciate most is the strong sense of community. The preschool regularly holds events that bring families together, which has helped us build meaningful connections with other parents and staff. It truly feels like a second home for our children. We have loved every minute of our experience with YMCC with our two boys. The teachers truly care and aim to give each student a great experience and environment to learn social skills as well as academic learning.
