What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Mother Goose Preschool has been such a wonderful experience our son Hudson who went there for 3 years. The teachers are incredibly caring and they’ve created a warm, nurturing environment where children truly thrive. We couldn’t be happier with the love and compassion our child received. We highly recommend!

  • My 4 yo girl and the whole family loved this place: fun and educational activities for getting ready for the school; lovely and professional teachers who have individual approach to every single child while maintaining high level of discipline, yummy food which even picky eaters love; shows and various performances which make kids feel important. As an addition, we moved from a different state and the staff made this transition so smooth for my daughter. I will definitely recommend this place to all parents who are looking for the best preschool in this area.

  • My daughter has been attending Mother Goose Academy, and we have had such a wonderful experience. The teachers and staff are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the children. I have seen my daughter grow so much—both academically and socially—thanks to the nurturing environment they provide. She always looked forward to going to school, and it gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such a safe and supportive place. The communication with parents is excellent, and they always keep us informed and involved. We are sad to be moving out of state and leaving this amazing school, but I will always be grateful for the foundation they gave my daughter. I highly recommend Mother Goose Academy to any parent looking for a loving and enriching preschool for their child.

  • A Truly Special Place – We Love Mother Goose! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Both of my kids (ages 2 and 5) attend Mother Goose Pre School in Chatsworth, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. From the very first visit, it was clear that this is a warm, nurturing, and well-organized environment where children are genuinely loved and cared for. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and experienced — they treat each child with such respect and attention, fostering not just academic skills but also emotional and social growth. You can tell they truly love what they do, and that makes all the difference. The curriculum is the perfect mix of structured learning and play. Our children comes home every day excited to share what they did — from storytelling and music to art projects and outdoor time. Their confidence and vocabulary have grown tremendously since starting here! The facility is clean, cheerful, and secure, with age-appropriate toys, learning materials, and plenty of room to explore. Communication with parents is also excellent; we’re always kept in the loop about progress, activities, and any updates. One of the most impressive things was how quickly and effectively they potty trained my 2-year-old — in just one week! I was amazed at how gently and confidently they handled it, and how supportive they were throughout the process. Ms. Victoria, the owner, is truly the heart and soul of Mother Goose. She is hands-on, passionate, and simply one of the most amazing people I’ve met. Her love for the children shines through in everything she does, and you can tell how much she cares about each family. If you’re looking for a preschool that feels like family and supports your child every step of the way, look no further. We feel so lucky to be part of the Mother Goose community!

  • We are so happy with Mother Goose! My son has been around 4 months; I know it is a short time, but we have seen an improvement in following directions, education, and even my son's speech. I love that Mother Goose has a structured environment. Even with the food, my son is a picky eater and now he eats salads! We are so happy and thankful since my son is very energetic, Miss Victoria and all of the staff have a lot of patience with my son, especially Miss Niki. (Thank you, Miss Niki!💖).

  • I’m so happy my daughter ended up at Mother Goose - I feel it was meant to be. She attended for Pre K, kindergarten, and went to summer school both years there. In the beginning, we dealt with anxiety attachment issues - transitioning into school was a BIG deal for us. Many tears and much resistance at first. Ms Victoria and the teachers were extremely helpful with a sensitive child. Slowly but surely (it took a little bit) but she became more bold, social and independent there. She loved it and continues to talk about the teachers and the food. She recognizes the difference as she now attends a charter school for 1st grade - Mother Goose provides high quality, homestyle nutritious meals that the kids love - and they get adequate time to eat. All in all my girl is so brave about school now and I can attribute that to A Mother Goose Academy.
