The teachers have incredible tenure and bring deep child development expertise to their work. This consistency has been invaluable for our child's growth and sense of security. The facility features three well-designed classrooms with bright, thoughtfully decorated spaces that create a welcoming learning environment. The playground is delightful, and the activity programming is consistently engaging and age-appropriate. APOMO's governance structure is refreshingly transparent. The parent board oversees school decisions and maintains full visibility into finances, ensuring collaborative leadership rather than top-down mandates. This creates a true partnership between families and the school. The school's approach is remarkably practical and family-friendly. There's no passive-aggressive pressure around lunches, gear, or drop-off logistics. The sick policy is reasonable and realistic. Fundraising opportunities are available but entirely optional, and families are never asked to purchase classroom supplies. The 7:30am-5:30pm schedule and affordable tuition make APOMO an excellent choice for working parents. The combination of quality education, experienced staff, and genuine family support is rare. We're grateful to be part of the APOMO community and highly recommend it to families seeking a nurturing, professionally-run preschool program.

The classroom setting and the way they structure the day makes for a perfect transition to TK or Kinder. It’s also a really fair price if you compare to any other preschools in the area. We have had such a positive experience, would highly recommend!

We had been raising her on our own with the help of her grandparents but as she got closer to the age of 2 realized she needed more interaction with kids her age and not just adults all the time. We looked into daycares and were fortunate enough to start with A Place of My Own. Ms. Vickie gave us an excellent tour along with the Director Ms. Shannon. Everything is so professional and the environment felt clean, inviting and fun! In the two months our daughter has been there she has grown so much and developing more everyday. We love seeing her art projects and picking her up at the end of the day seeing her play with the other kids in the wonderful outside playground they have. The best part is every morning when we tell her it's time for school, she is excited to go! And knowing that she is happy and in a safe place means more to us than anything. We hope this helps you make that big decision a little easier...
Ryan RuppertOct 9, 2025I’ve had two kids attend APOMO. Today was my daughter’s last day and I am sad for this era to be over. It’s a play based curriculum and it was great for my kids. They had a bunch of fun, made friends and learned the basics that will prepare them for TK and Kindergarten. The director and teachers were all easy to reach, communicate with, and treated my kids with kindness and patience. We couldn’t have had a better experience there.
