What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Action Day El Quito has been great school for our kids. Ms Veronica provides a wonderful safe space for kids to learn, play, and build friendships.

  • Our baby started in the infant room about four months ago, and we are so grateful that Ms. Ikbal became her first teacher as she began daycare. We were initially nervous due to our baby’s irregular feeding schedule, but Ms. Ikbal listened carefully to our concerns and shared thoughtful observations and gentle suggestions that greatly supported our baby’s transition and growth. She encourages independence by helping the babies hold their own bottles, assisting with sitting, and providing opportunities to explore on the mat and practice crawling. We love receiving photos of our baby’s daily activities and the adorable art projects Ms. Ikbal sends home, featuring tiny footprints and handprints.

  • Our baby thrives at El Quito. He clearly adores his teacher Ms. Akbal, with a huge grin on his face every time he sees her. It is so reassuring to know that he is so well looked after there. The rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of toys and activities. Ms. Akbal and all of the teachers go above and beyond treating the babies as if they are their own. I’m very happy we chose El Quito’s Infant Center for our baby.

  • We’ve had such a great experience at Action Day El Quito, thanks to the amazing team — Ms. Kayleen and Ms. Susan. Ms. Kayleen has been incredible from the start. She helped our child adjust, feel comfortable, and truly enjoy coming to school. Her patience, warmth, and extra effort mean so much to us. Ms. Susan is equally wonderful. She creates such a calm, caring, and welcoming environment, and our child feels supported and happy every single day. You can see her love for the kids in everything she does. Our child talks about both teachers constantly and always comes home smiling. We’re so grateful for the care, kindness, and attention they give. The team at Action Day El Quito is truly special!

  • Action Day El Quito has been wonderful for our family, but the true standout is Ms. Kayleen. From the very beginning, she has gone above and beyond to help my child adjust, feel comfortable, and genuinely enjoy coming to school. Her patience, warmth, and constant encouragement made all the difference during those first few weeks. You can tell she truly cares about her students — she notices the small things, celebrates their little wins, and gives each child the individual attention they need. My child talks about her every day and absolutely adores her. We are so grateful for everything she’s done. Ms. Kayleen is a gem, and Action Day El Quito is incredibly lucky to have her. Highly recommend!

  • We have had an absolutely incredible experience at Action Day, El Quito, and I cannot recommend this school highly enough. Our 4-year-old son has been in the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program, and the significant growth we've seen in him over this period has been astounding. The school environment itself is lovely—it has lots of natural light, a great playground, and the staff is genuinely loving and dedicated. They truly specialize in play-based education, fostering creativity and a genuine love for learning, while also ensuring important life skills are covered. For instance, our son is now much more organized and self-sufficient, and the school ensures children are well-prepped for safety protocols like fire drills. Beyond the daily curriculum, the school hosts fun activities, multiple field trips, and carnivals that further enhance the community feel and the children's creativity. The TK Dream Team: Ms. Deena and Ms. CC (Sierra) The true heart of our experience lies with the Transitional Kindergarten teachers: Ms. Deena and Ms. CC (Sierra). They are phenomenal. Their commitment to their students is exceptional. What truly sets them apart is their dedication to personalized education. My son is currently obsessed with Teslas, and Ms. Deena and Ms. CC went out of their way to ensure his passion translated into learning. They used Tesla-related metaphors to teach him writing concepts and specially printed Tesla stickers and coloring pages to use as personalized rewards. This level of individualized attention and effort was way beyond what we had expected from any school. They are extremely committed and have gone out of their way to ensure he remains interested and motivated every single day. If you are looking for a school that not only provides a safe and bright environment but also features educators who actively invest in your child's individual interests, look no further than Action Day, El Quito. Be sure to ask about the TK program with the amazing Ms. Deena and Ms. CC!

Questions parents ask about ACTION DAY SCHOOLS

Is ACTION DAY SCHOOLS a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. ACTION DAY SCHOOLS holds California licence 434417233, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on May 9, 2025. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does ACTION DAY SCHOOLS hold?

California licenses ACTION DAY SCHOOLS as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can ACTION DAY SCHOOLS care for?

ACTION DAY SCHOOLS is licensed for up to 434 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected ACTION DAY SCHOOLS?

California records 1 inspection visit to ACTION DAY SCHOOLS, the most recent on June 11, 2026. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited ACTION DAY SCHOOLS in response to a complaint?

California records 5 complaint-driven visits to ACTION DAY SCHOOLS. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

The licence is held by ACTION DAY SCHOOLS & PRIMARY PLUS, INC.. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Santa Clara County.
