What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

I attended this gym around 2008 for over a year. I hope things are different now, but back then, anyone could come in and watch the children (who were in leotards practicing). I imagine they said that they only let kids, parents, and trainers in, but people can always lie and they hardly checked. Random old men would come in and sit in the observation deck area and watch us, I always tried to hide but if you’ve seen the layout, there is no hiding. I felt like a deer being stalked by mountain lions. Destroyed my self esteem/image and gave me intense anxiety. Most the class trainers were great though, just wish I’d been more protected.
But Then What?Dec 5, 2025They weren't too busy to over charge my debit card but they're much, much too busy to answer their phone. When I agreed to automatic payment that didn't mean "help yourselves" to any amount.
MichAug 30, 2024So far my son is enjoying classes. He is Autistic and needs additional help. Our first class was a little iffy but after that he really seems to enjoy it as long as there is a teacher there to explain what to do and point him in the right direction
Allie NishikawaAug 20, 2024Great gym, great coaches. Love the summer camp options too!! But DESPERATELY needs an A/C overhaul or massive upgrade to their ventilation and cooling system (not sure that they currently even have actual A/C because it is THAT hot and I just see basic fans on which are essentially just swirling the hot air around) As a parent I am trying to sit and watch my kids during their classes but I can’t wait to get back to the car for A/C because I am always sweating so profusely in this gym that I need to go change my sweaty clothes after we leave the gym- this is for basically half of the year or more, but it’s especially bad during summertime. We have been coming here for years now and it’s always been this way so this isn’t just a temporary issue or something. Subtracting 1 star because of the lack of comfort for parents, grandparents and not to mention the poor gymnasts who are exercising in this very hot, humid gym. I know kids are resilient and the coaches do encourage a lot of water breaks, which is good, but I think for what we are paying these days they could do a lot better than this. Will upgrade to 5 stars if/when they make the gym comfortable.
Melanie StilesJul 22, 2023My grandson loves "All Star!". He/we, love the curriculum and the children are always treated respectfully and with proper guidance. The staff is always welcoming, caring & professional.
eleanor pereauJul 21, 2023I’m giving them 5 stars although they deserve more. It’s an excellent gym. My daughter goes there and has learned so much, and they give water when your little ones forget it. The coaches and staff are excellent. (My daughters favorite is Coach Katie, although she loves them all). This gym is excellent and has made a huge impact on my daughters life. Would recommend this gym for everyone!

Questions parents ask about ALL STAR GYMNASTICS
Is ALL STAR GYMNASTICS a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. ALL STAR GYMNASTICS holds California licence 093623346, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on April 9, 2020. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does ALL STAR GYMNASTICS hold?
- California licenses ALL STAR GYMNASTICS as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can ALL STAR GYMNASTICS care for?
- ALL STAR GYMNASTICS is licensed for up to 12 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected ALL STAR GYMNASTICS?
- California records 3 inspection visits to ALL STAR GYMNASTICS, the most recent on May 9, 2025 and the earliest on record December 20, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited ALL STAR GYMNASTICS in response to a complaint?
- California records no complaint-driven visits to ALL STAR GYMNASTICS. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.
Who holds the licence for ALL STAR GYMNASTICS?
- The licence is held by ALL STAR GYMNASTICS. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in El Dorado County.
