We are finishing up our first year at ANS and I cannot say enough positive things about it. From our first tour as a prospective family, we felt immediately at ease and could tell this was truly a special, child- and family- centered place. The teachers are all dedicated, kind, wise and fun, and the community of parents is wonderfully supportive. We are just so thankful!

It's such a fun and joyful place -- and it's been so gratifying to watch the kids -- (ours and their friends who I love so much!) -- explore their interests, learn through play, and gain confidence and compassion. It's also been meaningful for us as parents -- we've learned so much, made friends, and found community. We'll be sad to leave ANS when our daughter graduates next year, but we know -- like her brother -- she'll be ready for anything. ANS is a gem... there's a reason it was voted Best Preschool in Pasadena Weekly (2025)....
BeccaApr 26, 2026Our son currently attends ANS and I can’t imagine him going anywhere else. When first looking into schools, especially co-ops, for him to attend we toured all over the area and we found what we feel is the most supportive community here at ANS. Our son is happy to go to school, loves the teachers and his friends, and the community has been great for us as parents as well, we feel connected to not just the school but the other parents and teachers as well. I highly recommend coming for an open house or a tour if you’re interested in what this school has to offer because you won’t leave disappointed.
Abigail GreydanusFeb 20, 2026Our son is attending ANS for the second year. This is a great place for both children and their parents with very special caring teachers. Since it is a co-op, I also work twice a month while my son is also there. Which is a little extra work, but also fun to be together at school before he grows into kindergarten age. We are happy we found this place and have the luxury to enroll our son for the second time.

The child-led play approach helps kids grow with confidence and curiosity, and the community feels like family. We feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful school.

We have also enjoyed learning as and playing as parents here! You form a special bond with your fellow cohort of parents and the friendships endure beyond the preschool age (for adults and kids alike).
