My daughter has been attending Ascension Lutheran Preschool for 2 yrs. She has grown verbally, intellectually, and emotionally here. The staff has provided the opportunity for my daughter to learn in a loving group and to develop her own voice and interest. The school has taught her life skills and to care for the garden. I love how the staff is so creative in teaching the children.
Teresa OrtizMay 17, 2024We loved this school so much. Our daughter had severe separation anxiety and cried every day for at least a month and the staff was always so sweet to her. They would walk her around to water the plants or let her help out to distract her and after that month she completely changed. She had once been so shy and opened up so much. The facility was always clean and there were so many fun activities that the school planned. There was something so sweet about the families and it was a special community to be a part of. I could not recommend this school enough. It is the sweetest little treasure.

Love all the different activities and learning that they do - art, science, gardening, etc. The small feel of the school makes it feel like a family where we have gotten to know and love all the teachers and each other. It's truly a hidden gem in the South Bay!
Jane EagleMay 15, 2024My daughter's attended Ascension Lutheran Preschool and I couldn't have been happier. My children love going to school to learn and play with their friends and teachers. The teachers are very supportive and patient with my child. The curriculum allows for the children to have fun while learning and also teaches them life skills (gardening, being independent and to be able to verbalize their ideas). The teachers and director have a passion for teaching as well as introducing faith in a kid-friendly and non-denominational way.

Cathy LupoMay 10, 2024Great place to worship! Pastor Michael’s sermons are uplifting, inspiring and thought provoking. The doctrine is solid and questions are answered with thoughtfulness and care. The music is skillfully chosen to reflect the theme for the day to help provide the impact necessary for the sermon to stick with you. Bible Studies are available Monday’s, one Friday morning a month before work hours for men, Saturday’s and Sunday ‘s, an active women’s group, things for kids and much more! I would definitely recommend checking Ascension out.
