What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • We enrolled my second son in baby world after he was at another daycare and struggling to eat there. I visited the facility based on recommendation of our friends who were very happy with their daughter’s experience here. This place is the most caring and nurturing place for kids. My so loves coming here and the teachers pay personal attention to each and every kid and make sure they all eat and have fun. We drop him off at 7:50 and pick him up by 4:45 and he is so happy to be here. Every single member of the staff knows and cares about each of the kids. They look after kids as a part of their own family. They have so many events and celebrations to bring together parents and encourage forming a community. Teacher Aboli knows my son’s food preferences better than me. Teacher Nelly was very patient with my son as he was going through a biting phase in the beginning and helped him overcome the issue. Teacher Sanela greets him every morning and has helped him develop independence in eating, putting on his shoes. Even after we moved to a farther away home, I have continued to keep my son in baby world as he really enjoys it and I have peace of mind that my son is well fed and enjoying with his friends and teachers. Thank you Baby world for all you do!

  • My baby is currently enrolled there. I can tell she really loves it there, and everyone who works there truly cares about the kiddies. When it's time for drop off, she'll turn and reach for them. During the day, I'm able to watch on the cameras and see that she'll walk over to them and fall asleep on them during nap time. It's a great, nurturing environment!

  • I had three kids attend Babyworld from about 1 years old to 3 years old. My youngest recently aged out of Babyworld. Yet we still get invited to holiday events - Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Halloween, and Christmas. The staff are all very caring and attentive. First we met Teacher Elvie, the Director, who got our kids enrolled and ready for the 1st day of school. When our little ones were still babies, we dropped off at the baby side. Teacher Sanela and all the ladies on that side are so good with the babies. Once the babies can walk, we then moved them to Teacher Nelly’s room. Teacher Nelly is so attentive and has a good memory. At 2 years old, they move on to a pre-school transition class led by Teacher Aboli. My kids still talk about her cooking lessons. Finally they become the big kids and advance to the preschool. I still remember Teacher Red and Teacher Bernie giving me advice about toddler behavior every day, lol. Sending our kids here was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. No mess and no fuss, just drop off and pick up with very little problems. The rates are reasonable and the schedule is very good. You won’t regret it.

  • My son attended Babyworld for 2.5 years, from ages 1-3, and we had a wonderful experience with them! All the teachers were so loving and kind. They always greeted us warmly and looked happy to be with the children. I appreciated how they spoke positively about my son, sharing how much they liked him and what he talked about during the day. They communicated his likes and dislikes with me regarding his diet so I could plan accordingly. I could feel their love for him. I also appreciated how engaged they kept the children with various activities such as cooking, painting, arts and crafts. My son really enjoyed his time there. Also, their holiday parties are the best! They go all out and make it so fun for the children and the families. They brought Santa for Christmas, bunnies for Easter, and a train for Halloween. Such a fun experience for everyone! We really miss all the staff and my son still mentions how much he misses his teachers and asks to go back. I highly recommend them!

  • My baby has been attending bw since month 8, and she is turning 3 now. The teachers there are warm and friendly, they love the kids from the bottom of their hearts and they treasure the kids each and every day. Baby loves to go to school and talks about the fun activities she does at school when she goes home. They have full camera sharing at each of the classrooms, so we can see what baby is doing anytime we want, this is a great joy for us to do while working during the weekdays.

Questions parents ask about BABY WORLD

Is BABY WORLD a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. BABY WORLD holds California licence 434412161, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on March 1, 2011. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does BABY WORLD hold?

California licenses BABY WORLD as a infant center, a category that covers children under two. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can BABY WORLD care for?

BABY WORLD is licensed for up to 44 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected BABY WORLD?

California records 4 inspection visits to BABY WORLD, the most recent on February 6, 2026 and the earliest on record April 27, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited BABY WORLD in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to BABY WORLD. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for BABY WORLD?

The licence is held by HAIDEE LIM. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Santa Clara County.
