  My oldest two daughters are Beresford Alumni and our youngest (3 years old) now goes there . It’s the warmest, kindest preschool we could ask for. The teachers are all incredibly tenured. Their passion for teaching and their love for the children is unparalleled. We drop our daughter off to warm hugs and laughing children everyday. when she cries at drop-off, Ms Marisol will always fill us in during the day. The teachers have all worked together so long it truly feels like a family. Our youngest daughter can’t wait to go to school everyday. For our older two girls, they both graduated learning how to read and write independently and they went into kindergarten knowing simple addition and subtraction. Ms Karina and her staff were able to instill our kids with a love of learning. Some of our fondest memories and deepest friendships have been formed through the Beresford community!   Beresford is an absolute treasure. Our 4.5-year-old has been attending since he was three, and his journey began on a milestone day: he joined the very morning our second child was born. As my husband and I left for the hospital, our eldest was being warmly welcomed by the staff, ensuring a seamless transition during what could have been a tumultuous time. All the teachers are incredible. They have a magic for sparking curiosity and love of learning that is so rare to find. Our kid absolutely loves math, and thanks to the way the teachers there teach it, he has an amazing foundation and true grasp of counting, addition, subraction, and now multiplication. He asks us to do math all the time and quizzes us for fun on the weekends. Beyond academics, he has blossomed socially, discovering his first best friend within a tight-knit community where parents and students feel like family. This sense of connection is cemented by vibrant traditions, like the "Mystery Reader" visits (where parents come in and read a book), seasonal singing performances, and frequent community gatherings at the nearby park for holidays ranging from Easter to Holi. A beloved music teacher comes once a week and our eldest often comes home teaching us songs like “Peace Beings with Me”. We are filled with gratitude for the incredible experience he has had and eagerly anticipate the day our younger child joins the Beresford family.

  We absolutely love Beresford! It’s truly a diamond in the rough. It came high recommended from our friends who sent all three of their kids there and we have really enjoyed being part of the community with our 4 year old. The teachers are truly amazing and do a great job giving each student individual attention on a daily basis. Our son was there for about 4-5 months and was already reading. He is now 4.5 and after a year there, he is completely reading books by himself, doing addition, subtraction, and even multiplication. His confidence has skyrocketed and is now proudly speaking to other kids and adults (a big change from his shy temperament). The regular public speaking practice every week during show and tell also is an excellent way they strengthen those soft skills. This mix group also helps the kids learn how to be good citizens and friends with both older and younger classmates. We cannot say enough great things about Beresford. We will definitely be sending out second there as well.

  Beresford is such an amazing school that when the kids graduate from here, any elementary school you visit will feel like a step down. There simply isn’t enough good things one can say about the school or the staff. Ms Karina has been doing this for decades and it shows in everything the school does. The staff here truly care about creating a nurturing environment. The parents community is wonderful. We are going to dearly miss Beresford when our kid graduates. We will always be grateful for the time we as a family got to spend at Beresford.

  Our daughter is in her 3rd/last year of preschool at Beresford and we think its great. The atmosphere is nurturing and educational. She has learned a ton and will be really well prepared for kindergarten. The only minor downside is that they don't have much area for outside play, but the kids don't seem to mind and they make the most out of what they have. The teachers are great. We have not had a single day in the three years when our daughter was not happy to go into school.
