This review is truly overdue! My youngest is the last of my children to attend here. The program offers a good balance between play and learning - and most importantly, the genuine love and care my kids receive from their teachers gives me complete peace of mind every time after drop-off.
TrinhMay 21, 2026Our daughter attended Beth Emek Preschool for both preschool and T-K. The staff is amazing. The attention and care they pour into all the kids is special. This is more than a pace to drop off your kid. It’s a place where our daughter learned new skills, made friends, and became part of a community. We are grateful for our time there.
Justin CDec 23, 2025Beth Emek preschool was a wonderful experience for my family. The teachers were very communicative and would share stories about my child with me and keep me informed. I was very impressed from day one to see how the teachers interacted with the children. The kids listen and follow directions. The kids are happy to be there to learn, play, and learn important socialization skills.
Gaby BrevermanAug 16, 2025I feel so grateful for having enrolled my daughter in Beth Emek! It is an amazing and nurturing environment. The teachers are awesome. Most have been there for over a decade and you get the sense that they enjoy each other as much as the kids. They make each individual child feel noticed, which is incredibly important. There are lots of cool activities and just enough structure for kids this age. The communication between the teachers and parents and also between parents is wonderful at Beth Emek. I am really happy that I chose Beth Emek Preschool!
DaneenAug 9, 2025My son has spent the last year at Beth Emek Preschool and it was the best experience I've had with a preschool in Pleasanton. After our preschool closed unexpectedly a month before school, I scrambled to find a new place for my son. We had a failed attempt at another school in town and after speaking with Kathi, we joined the family at Beth Emek. The teachers at Beth Emek set the tone for learning through curiosity, while being supported by an age appropriate curriculum. All of the teachers have been a part of the Beth Emek team for many years, both as parents and teachers and seem to genuinely love their time there. The children absolutely feel the warmth and joy, but they're also very matter of fact about rules and respect for others. It was a great balance of kindness and firmness for us. To the comment about phone usage. I find it very odd and potentially out of context based on my experience. During our time at Beth Emek, I did see the occasional phone used. But I saw it to take pictures of the kids, to do a quick Google translate to help a child who didn't speak English or to continue a conversation about a question the children had about whatever it was they were discussing. It was very much an organic part of the learning process and was very rare. Lack of supervision, especially for personal phone use, would have been a red flag for me and I didn't see any of that during our time there. Lastly, we're not Jewish, nor are we affiliated with the congregation, but I found it to be a wonderful warm environment, eager to share, always willing to answer questions and always respectful of others both culturally and spiritually.
Dan OlsonJul 30, 2025Such a warm and loving place for children to learn! Educational, fun, and safe. The building and classrooms are lovely and well-maintained. The playground is large and protected, keeping the kids safe. The teachers are professionals, educating and caring for the children with tons of activities.
