What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • My 3-year-old daughter loves the teachers and the school. She is excited to go there every day and enjoys playing in the great outdoor space they have. She learns so much in a very supportive and caring environment. We are very happy with the preschool!

  • BHCA is a great school! Our oldest daughter started there at age 2 and graduated shy of turning 5. She learned so much in those 3 years. Our little one turns 2 in November and will be starting there soon as well. Love all the teachers, the spaces and the warmness of every one.

  • Great school. My son likes coming to school everyday, he's not to fond of waking up early in the morning. I can't blame him though. The staff here is very welcoming and warm. It's good to start the school experience in a positive way. As a parent all you can ask for from a school is to treat your little one as one of their own. That's exactly how they treat all the students here. I get piece of mind knowing that he's in good hand while I'm at work.

  • I was a little hesitant to enroll my son here because of all the bad reviews the old director got, but there is a new owner who is really nice, and welcoming. This week will be his 4th week in the school he is 2 1/2 and we both like the teachers and the new director. BTW it has some teachings of a Montessori, and the name will be changed soon.

Questions parents ask about BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY

Is BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY holds California licence 197419958, currently listed as "CLOSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on December 17, 2015. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY hold?

California licenses BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY care for?

BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY is licensed for up to 52 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

Has California visited BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for BEVERLY HILLS CHILDREN'S ACADEMY?

The licence is held by SIRIWARDANA, IMESHA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
