Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to BIG FUTURE PRESCHOOL.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Big Future Preschool has an amazing academic based program that enriches students' development through exploration of reading, writing, and STEAM based lessons. The students graduate with the skills of kindergarten readiness. They have a solid foundation of number and letter identification, the ability to sound out words, knowledge of site words, principles of addition and subtraction, and knowledge of science concepts such as life cycles, engineering, physics, and chemical reactions. Their artist of the month curriculum explores multicultural artists and allows students to explore various art forms that are relevant to our world today. (one of the artists they explore has a mural at the San Diego Zoo). The school also does in class field trips to enrich the curriculum through interaction with the concept they are learning. This includes a petting zoo that will come when they explore rainforests and roaring tide pools visit when they explore oceans. The team of teachers and the director at Big Future make your family feel a sense of community belonging. They make the environment feel so homey. The center's family based feel makes everyone feel welcome and included. Students who graduate and previous staff are always to come visit to be a part of the "Big Future Family". As an educator I would highly recommend this program for families as well for teachers in the field of child development.

  • I can't say enough great things about BFP San Marcos. It was my little guys home away from home for 3 years of his life. We were at a big chain preschool before and switched over to BFP and it was the best small school feel ever. So much fun, so much learning and so much love for my little guy. Funny thing is, I learned about this school originally when my 11 year old was 4/5 and covid hit. Virtual learning was not good for my kid and BFP was his saving grace during that time. I cannot recommend this place enough. My little guy is off to TK now, but we miss it already. The teachers and director are the absolute best. 🩷

  • Big Future San Marcos feels like family. We have had 3 kids at the school. Two have completed and are very very prepared for TK. The school is flexible and caring. They go above and beyond to make the best experience for your little.

  • We cannot say enough wonderful things about Big Future San Marcos. Our two children attended Big Future Aug 2021- Aug 2024. Each teacher at Big Future is truly kind, special, and genuinely cares about each child as an individual. There is a very positive atmosphere that fosters growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our children were set up beautifully to begin TK/Kindergarten with confidence. We are grateful for the experience we had at Big Future!

  • My daughter has attended since August 2024. I am grateful to have found this program, as it has enabled her to write and spell her name. The environment fosters growth, independence, and a sense of care for both children and parents. The price compared to other daycares in the area is reasonable. They even offer one night a month where they will watch your children for a small fee, allowing you to enjoy a date night with your spouse.

  • Big Future was the best decision I had made for both of my kids! #1 the place was squeaky clean at all times. #2 both my kids LOVED all of their teachers, and we were very sad to leave after they graduated. #3 they had the BEST projects and science experiments. Both of my kids would come home with art projects that could have all been framed- I have cherished/stored many of these (which is hard to find at a school). The only downside was the playground was small, but my kids never cared because they always had fun activities and equipment to play with. Every teacher (Ms Jessica/Ms Xyra/Ms Mahua) was incredible- the love and structure they provided was a good balance. We still keep in touch with them, and cherish the time we had a Big Future! I had 5 different neighbors/friends go there because we loved it so much- and so did they!

Is BIG FUTURE PRESCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. BIG FUTURE PRESCHOOL holds California licence 376105239, currently listed as "PENDING" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does BIG FUTURE PRESCHOOL hold?
