What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Absolutely love Blessed Sac! We toured plenty of local Placentia/Yorba Linda/ Anaheim Hills Preschools, and Blessed Sac CLC felt like home. Can't wait for my 1.5 year old to be old enough to start at age 2!

  • Early childhood education experiences can set the tone for a lifetime of learning. Blessed Sacrament CLC starts it off right, promoting a love of learning and positive sense of community. We chose the non-profit for our two kids from ages 2-5 after reading countless positive reviews on social media. For two years in a row (2022, 2023), the school was voted as Reader's Choice Best Preschool in OC by Parenting OC Magazine. At first we were hesitant because we are not Episcopalian, but religion is not the focus nor is it forced. Attending families are from a variety of backgrounds and religions, all are welcome with open arms. Children are taught the foundation of how to be a good friend to all. FAMILY FOCUSED Teachers and staff engage learning through active indoor and outdoor play. The small school is recently renovated and has a wonderful small group of staff that get to know every child in the program. My oldest is moving on to kindergarten, but she will have a connection to this school for the rest of her life. She is already looking forward to future visits back to hug staff. It's truly a family from start to finish and beyond. PRIORITY OF SAFETY AND WELL-BEING As a parent, the safety and well-being of my child is highest priority. The staff feel the same way, promoting a safe, positive environment with strict adherence to licensing requirements. Staff retention is high, developing trust and comfort for the children. There are flexible choices for tuition (which is more than reasonable for the high quality of childcare) and payment plans are available. We started sending our kids two half days a week, but they requested more time at school. We were able to increase both the number of days and hours at low additional cost. POSITIVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT Throughout the school year there are special events to bring everyone together, such as the Bike-A-Thon, holiday celebrations, and an annual auction. Staff hold optional parent teacher conferences to discuss your child's development and are happy to work on any issues, from potty training, social development, to academic progress. Summer school includes weekly themed learning activities, water play days, and special visits from individuals like first responders to learn about community.

  • Blessed Sacrament isn't just our son's preschool...it really has become family. Most of the teachers have been there for many years and know all the kids regardless of the class they're in. The small environment really makes the attention individualized. It is connected to the Episcopal Church next door, but there is no pressure to be a member. As non-practicing Catholics, we felt right at home and decided to join the congregation, but again, no pressure to do so. Chapel visits are 1-2 times a week and our son loves to sing and learn there. They offer in-house interactive music class, karate, and science fun. The education is experiential and they learn through play and art. Our son is learning how to write letters and sight words, simple math and counting and even Spanish! Communication is excellent and they use an app for attendance and communication so you can get real time alerts and messages if things are happening at the school. They offer hot lunch several days a week. There are several opportunities throughout the year for the whole school to get together for fundraising opportunities which is great fun for the kids and parents. This school is inclusive to children with lots of different needs and family structures. As a two mommy family, this was very important for us and it's never been an issue. We wish our son could stay there forever but he will be off to Kindergarten well-prepared and much more confident this year. Bravo to Tracie & Sheila and all the teachers for making these kids as much of a priority as we do!

  • We love Blessed Sac CLC! Our son has been here for 6 months and he looks forward to going to school every morning! He has become even more social and confident. It is amazing how they let each child be who they are and reinforce key values and life skills rather than trying to fit each child into a cookie cutter mold of how to be a “good student.” We cannot say enough great things about the team! Thank you so much :)

  • Blessed Sacrament Children's Learning Center is truly a diamond in the rough. We are so grateful that friends of ours shared it with us a couple years back. The staff is amazing and truly live by their motto "Where children know they're loved." Our son has blossomed here and has learned so much, and looks forward to going every morning. On top of having such caring and loving staff, they have an awesome facility with a fun playground and a great hot lunch program. They also bring in extra activities for the kids to experience with a singing/music program, intro to karate class and a science program too. If you're looking for a place to call home for your little ones there's not a better place then BSCLC, go and check it out for yourself, they are the best!

Questions parents ask about BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER

Is BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER holds California licence 304270495, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on September 4, 1998. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER hold?

California licenses BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER care for?

BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER is licensed for up to 70 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER?

California records 3 inspection visits to BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER, the most recent on October 17, 2025 and the earliest on record July 21, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for BLESSED SACRAMENT CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER?

The licence is held by EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Orange County.
