  My son had a wonderul time at BCA. He learned a lot, felt safe, and loved all the teachers and staff. The experience helped him eat veggies, learn more about Jesus and God, be creative, participate in different activities, and have a lot of outdoor fun time. We really appreciate the staff and how much they genuinely care for the children and their development.

  We had two kids attend BrightStar - aged 2.5 and 4 at the time of writing. BrightStar represents their namesake well by exuding a bright, cheerful ambiance that you feel from the moment you drop off your kid all the way to pick up time. The staff is very approachable and communicates well through daily updates. The Christian values that the staff teaches - both explicitly and implicitly - are also in line with the teachings that we want to foster our children with. We had hoped to continue sending both our kids here until at least TK; however, a recent move has made the commute difficult. Overall, I truly can't recommend a better daycare in the area.

  Bright Star Christian Academy is an absolute gem! The teachers genuinely love and nurture each child, the Bible-based curriculum is excellent academics are top-notch, and the warm, family-like environment makes every day a joy.   My child had a wonderful year at BrightStar. Taking care of children is more than just a job; it requires a dedication that goes beyond a career. It involves impacting a child's personality and life. I believe that maintaining such a mindset and mission is not easy for every teacher. However, every teacher and staff we met here possessed that spirit. You could feel the energy and positive attitude they brought, and I believe that those qualities flowed into the children, including my own child and our family. I am grateful for having met such dedicated and passionate teachers. Thank you for making this past year so wonderful for my child.

  I had my daughter already registered at another preschool when I went to the Brightstar open house. We were stunned when she had a magical and undeniable connection with Miss Carol, the Turtle Doves teacher. Miss Carol was so warm and loving towards my daughter. It was as if she loved my child as much as I did. We immediately registered her in Brightstar and watched her thrive in every aspect of her life including academic, spiritual and confidence. She is graduating this year and is more than ready to take her next steps into kindergarten. The entire staff whole-heartedly put their hearts into their work every single day. It is a warm and loving environment and one of the best kept secrets of San Jose.

  My eldest has been at brightstar for 3 years. He is loved, nurtered, and guided by wonderful teachers who recognize his unique gifting and encourage him to shine. He is completely ready for Kindergarten. We are sad to be closing this very special chapter with this very special school.
