What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • We love Building Blocks. We have had horrible experiences with other ... we’ll say *less qualified* preschools in the area prior to finding BB. Our son has autism, higher functioning-ish. He is just beginning to talk and has needs particular to him. We needed a place that would allow our son to have his behavioral interventionist show up to do hours. The staff at BB seemed to be unsure of how to approach him and his care, but this lasted less than the first week after meeting his BI and seeing what he was actually capable of. The staff at building blocks is kind, and they seem to truly care about our son. The other kids treat him well, the adults have patience with his quirks, and the price is not impossible. Money is always a concern with autism families considering the various therapies, classes, schools they have to attend, specialized equipment required to keep them safe, etc. I would definitely urge you to give Building Blocks a second look if you are looking for solid, affordable preschool/daycare in the area.

  • Our son (2years) loves going here!! He comes home and says school was fun! Hes been talking so much more! We see improvements in him speaking knowing more words! Out of nowhere we also noticed he knows some colors very well!! Im sure its in thanks to his teachers who are always nice, happy, and seem so caring telling him bye after the day or welcoming him in for the day❤️. We also really love that they have a facebook page and keep it updated because we like that we can view clips or pictures of what he did for the day and the many activities they all do!
