What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I take my 4-year-old niece to this preschool, and we’ve both had a really great experience so far working with Monica. The teachers especially Ms.Cindy are super friendly and patient, and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. My niece is always excited to go, which makes drop-offs so much easier. The place is clean, bright, and full of fun activities that keep the kids engaged. I’ve definitely seen her become more social and confident since starting here. They also do a good job keeping us updated. Overall, it just feels like a really warm and happy place for kids.

  • Building Kidz of Hayward has been an incredible second home for our child. The director and teachers are warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth, blending strong academics with music, dance, and creative education. The campus is clean, secure, and well organized, which gives us real peace of mind at drop‑off and pick‑up. Their communication is excellent, with helpful daily updates and photos that let us stay connected to our child’s day. Most importantly, our child is happy, confident, and excited to go to school.

  • My son has been going to Building Kidz in Hayward for almost over a year now. When my son first started it was a REALLY hard transition for him. Every time during drop off he'd cry and cry and cry this lasted about a month and half almost two months. However his teacher at the time Ms Lori was super sweet and patient with him to get him settled and now he misses it when he doesn't go. The class sizes aren't huge which is great and it has a great play yard with shade for those hots days. The teachers at facility are amazing Ms Lori, Ms Mary and Teacher Rosa and the director Ms Anabel are great teachers that really care what they do, patient with your child and importantly want your child to succeed. Building Kidz also utilizes an app that provides you updates of your child's day. If they went the bathroom, ate all or some of their lunch, made a craft or took a nap with videos and photos. One thing I love is their focus on performance arts which really fits my son's personality. I cannot recommend highly them enough. I've seen my child grow and it's because of the wonderful people at Building Kidz.

  • My daughter just finished 2 school years at Building Kidz and we loved it! The performing arts curriculum is a major bonus on top of the great teaching staff and secure location. All the teachers took the time to get to know the whole family and always made us feel welcome, and staffing was mostly consistent throughout my daughter's time there. Communication is primarily through an app, so you can get updates throughout the day to track potty training and see some of the curriculum they're working on. The director is incredibly organized and gets to know each child to place them in the right class with the right kids. She was super responsive and understanding whenever we had any questions or concerns. They started including lunch which was a major bonus for us! So grateful for our time with Building Kidz.

  • Great school. The director Ms. Anabel is very informative on everything. She has been in the field for 12 plus years. My daughter has been going to building kids since 6 months. She started at 2 years old at this location. Teachers are very communicative since it’s through an app. Location is very secure since it’s gated. Just hate how parking can be a hassle because u.s military recruit is next door and they take parking that is not for them.
