Our daughter attended BK from age 18 mo to 4 years and absolutely thrived here! We have been so blown away by the support we have received, the community we've been welcomed into, and the education (both academically and socially) our daughter has left with. The teachers and director truly care, and it is very apparent in the way they individualize care for each student. The entire staff is extremely responsive, and it was very comforting to get consistent updates, photos, and videos throughout the day. The preschool curriculum was a pleasant surprise as well - the kids aren't simply in childcare, they are truly learning and growing so much! The school puts on regular impressive musical performances that were highlights of our year. Art shows to show case the many crafts they do, bringing in drama and music teachers, and even giving teacher assessments/feedback to support each kid - we felt so included in our daughters care and learning. It was the best peace of mind knowing our kid was being cared for so well during her time here!
Ryan PerishoAug 11, 2026We really love Building Kidz - Linda Mar! The director is in tune with everything going on, the teachers are supportive and caring, and the app is a great tool for parents to check-in throughout the day with updates about eating or sleeping and pictures!

mario nastariFeb 8, 2024I cannot say enough good things about this school, its teachers, and the program. Both of my girls went through their program since infancy; first at Oceana, then moving to Linda Mar when it opened. My youngest has struggled with connecting with other children and participating in groups, however in the last year at Building Kidz, she has really turned around. Their play-based, performing arts based program along with their amazing teachers (thank you, Ms Joanna) and management (thank you, Ms Sophin), has really helped her thrive. She has become such a confident, purpose-filled child in the last year, and so much of that can be attributed to her time here.
Paula N.Jan 28, 2024My son has been attending this school starting at 18 months old and now in his 2's. Being the first place outside of home was something new for him. He started off emotional, but the teachers in the baby room showed so much patience and love. He look longer to adjust but every day his teachers gave so much positive updates and had their school app updated so I can check in on my son. Both actions gave me so much peace of mind. Now he is in their twos program and he runs in to school, he has learned so much. Each staff member walking through the facility are so polite. The director at this facility was so hands on and helpful with all transitions and needs that I had. Having a place that brings my son happiness and strive in his development is a great feeling.
NateJan 25, 2024Both my daughters have gone to Building Kidz Linda Mar. BK has a strong, developmentally appropriate "curriculum" for the kids, including theater, dance and music classes, in addition to regular academics. The teachers are warm and caring and both my daughters thrived while attending BK.
