Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to BUILDING KIDZ OF REDWOOD CITY.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Horrible care please don’t bring you infants and toddles here I have experienced horrible moments they force infinite to finish their bottle, even though they don’t wanna drink it, but make them drink it very intense don’t like it here don’t recommend their care

  • We enrolled our child at BK years ago but had a very negative experience. Our child came home with a long scratch and a deep scar under her eye. The teacher claimed she scratched herself during nap time, which we found unbelievable. We withdrew our child from the school immediately due to safety concerns.

  • We’ve had such a great experience at this daycare. The teachers are truly wonderful — caring, patient, and really engaged with the kids. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how happy and confident our child is every day. The location is super convenient, the facility is always clean and organized, and communication has been excellent from day one. It feels good knowing our child is in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Highly recommend to any family looking for a place that genuinely feels like a second home for their little one.

  • WARNING to all parents paying a deposit to be on their waitlist… I was initially excited about this school and submitted my child’s application a year + in advance. With a waitlist of 20+, I didn't think my child would get in so hesitated to pay the $50 deposit. The coordinator there assured me there was a good chance my child would get in and encouraged me to apply(given the small classroom sizes, this was not possible). I never heard back from Building Kidz RWC regarding the waitlist-no follow up, no responses to my emails during this year. 6 months after I paid this deposit, my friend contacted them to apply for her child and the waitlist was at 40. She hesitated to apply, but they then offered her a spot(without paying the deposit) for the following month-skipping all the other families in line on the waitlist. In conclusion, they don't follow their waitlist in order or fairly. Do not give them your deposit money if the waitlist is long.

  • When picking up my child, I was greeted with a "can I help you?" to the tone of an aggressive "who the ___ are you!?". I felt uncomfortable and uneasy ever going back. They still made us pay the rest of the amount for not sending our child there because 'thats what we signed up for.' Building Kidz in general is a franchise, and the bottom line is $money$. Additionally, the communication was very poor with no clarity during the whole time there, including ?expected? volunteer time and funds collection for an event. The only aspect that we liked was the 30 min dance class. I do not recommend this place.

  • A truly amazing organization. They completely understand what quality childcare should look like.
