  We cannot say enough wonderful things about Building Kidz Preschool! All three of our children have attended, and after experiencing three different preschools and touring countless others, nothing has come close to comparing to BK. The owners, Annie and Stephanie, are truly exceptional. As moms themselves, they bring so much thoughtfulness, compassion, and genuine care into every aspect of the school. They have created a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn. Our children have absolutely blossomed during their time at Building Kidz. The curriculum is engaging and well-rounded, and we especially love the emphasis on movement, art, and dance. It fosters creativity, confidence, and a love of learning while supporting each child’s individual development. What stands out most is the way the school consistently goes above and beyond. From safety and communication to the quality of care and educational experience, every detail reflects their commitment to creating a positive and enriching environment for children and families. Building Kidz has been such an important part of our family’s journey, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact it has had on our children.   Building Kidz has been an incredible experience for our family. After transferring our daughter from another school, we saw a remarkable transformation. She became more confident, opened up socially, learning a lot more, and genuinely began to enjoy going to school unlike before. One thing we especially appreciate is the strong sense of community. The school provides opportunities for families to participate and stay connected. Our daughter also loves performing arts and dance, so the school’s arts-focused program has been a perfect fit for her. The daily updates and photos give us great insight into her day and help us stay engaged in her learning experience. The teachers are caring, attentive, and proactive in communicating about anything that comes up. Most importantly, our daughter loves her teachers.   Building Kidz Sunset has been a wonderful preschool for our daughter and our family. What stands out most to us is how much the teachers and staff genuinely care about the children. Our daughter is excited to go to school, talks about her teachers and friends at home, and has grown so much in confidence, independence, and social skills during her time there. She can be equal parts spirited, curious, and determined, and her teachers have embraced her exactly as she is while helping her continue to learn and grow. We've also appreciated the communication and partnership with families.   Building Kidz opening in the Sunset felt like a lifesaver. Our son had been going to a preschool across Golden Gate Park, and that commute was such a headache. So when this location opened, we toured it and just fell in love right away. The space felt warm and peaceful the second we walked in, the kind of calm that puts both kids and parents at ease. He spent his last year before Kindergarten here and loved every bit of it. The teachers were amazing, he was so into the curriculum, and the food? He couldn't get enough, always asking for seconds. The outdoor space was a huge hit too. They'd also throw these family events that were honestly so fun. Great way to get to know the other families and see your kid in their element. It made the whole place feel like a little community. By the time Kindergarten came around, he could already read and write, so jumping in was a breeze. He still brings up Building Kidz and all the fun he had there. We're so happy we found it. Highly, highly recommend.

  Building Kidz Sunset is an absolute gem of a preschool and we are so grateful that our son has spent his last 3 years there. The teachers are warm, caring, and patient and it is clear that they put a lot of love and energy into each and every child. We absolutely adore the teachers there, especially teacher Faviola and teacher Florence who have been with our son for quite some time now. The curriculum is fun and engaging, the outdoor space is awesome, and overall the community is just wonderful. The performing arts component really sets this school apart from other preschools as the kids enjoy weekly music and theater classes as well as sweet performances for friends and family twice a year. After the best 3 years at Building Kidz we leave with the most amazing friendships and a 5 year old who is more than prepared for the great big world of Kindergarten. Stephanie and Annie are the cherries on top of this already amazing school and have truly made this feel like a second home and family to us!

  We’ve brought our energetic kid to a few different daycare programs, but Building Kidz Taraval has been the absolute best. The teachers and admin truly care for the kids, are incredibly communicative, and the app allows for delightful peaks at what our kid is learning that day. Not to mention the huge relief that their meal plan offers. We’ve already told our pregnant friends to get their applications in because this is really a hidden gem.
