Pastor Paul baptized me years ago when I was struggling with alcohol. I feel he saved my life back then. He continues to inspire me though I never seem to make it to Sunday service anymore.

God uses the good and the bad for our edification, correction and encouragement. it is to say, this church is not an inclusive church. that is leadership may support what Scripture says, however they will not necessarily follow through with it. if this church embraces scripture and what the founder, Church Smith derives that "grace changes everything" then see if this church follows through with that. It did not for me. it was hard, but i left for another body and felt more welcome than here. it was a God thing, and am so glad what Christ has done for me. there is great fellowship here, but as in any church, there are those you can trust and not trust; and just be wary theological arrogance happens anywhere. Jesus Christ is Lord, not Calvary Chapel of Santa Maria. If this body works for you, great. If not, go somewhere else where you know where you are welcomed. As far as leadership, it may be sincere, but it needs work on its hospitality.

Wonderful friendly and extremely helpful church members as well as the best pastor my husband and I have ever experinced. Love the sermons by Pastor Conor, as well as love equally our worship team. God's presence resonates clearly every Sunday service!!!

gabriel celedonioJul 28, 2022Today February 7, 2021 was an amazing day to Worship at Calvary Chapel. The worship team, under Michael‘s direction led us to a level of praising God in a natural outpouring of love and gratitude toward our God. The songs chosen by the worship team director, lead us to a supernatural level of honest praise to our Creator with hands held high and spirits bowed in worship. My eyes were closed and my head was often bowed in reverence, but I was singing in 3rd part harmony from depths of my soul! But what was even better today than the music, was the teaching by Pastor Connor. He brings the Bible to such life and gives it a vitality that few people ever know how to share. But the words he preaches and the teaching his shares bless me - big time! Thank you Connor for your teaching and leading us to our Lord. Praise our God of Love. That’s what He is! Love.
