What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • CPPP truly is a village of caring teachers and parent volunteers who all work together to foster a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. The teachers meet each student and family where they are, and are incredibly accommodating to help with a gentle transition. Through the co-op format, I'm active in my child's learning journey. It's also allowed me to really get to know the other parents, all who share similar values and approach to parenting and early education. The sense of community I've felt here is truly invaluable. There's many opportunities to socialize with other parents through events and field trips Most important, I know my daughter is in good hands. CPPP's play-based format and carefully thought out curriculum has allowed my daughter to blossom into a confident and capable student. Socially and emotionally, she has thrived and I'm so happy to see her come into her own and develop friendships. Thanks to the trust that's been built with her teachers and parent volunteers, she's able to communicate her needs and feels comfortable asking for help. Academically, she's developed many skills that will prepare her for kindergarten. Theres so many takeaways from this incredible school. One that stands out is the "Calming Corner" the teachers created this past year, a space where students can process big feelings with the help of several calming tools and techniques, including books on emotions and their own calming feather to practice breathing and mindfulness. This space resonated so much with my daughter that she asked us to create a Calming Corner at home for her! We use it regularly. Thank you CPPP for equipping the next generation with the tools and skills they need to become emotionally intelligent and empathetic humans! I always struggled with the idea of my daughter being away from me. I highly recommend CPPP and the parent participation format for any parent who struggles with the same concept. CPPP is the perfect gentle transition for this, and the teachers and other parents are extremely supportive. I also highly recommend CPPP for parents and caregivers who want to be active in their child's learning journey in a safe and supportive environment.

  • We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this parent-participation preschool in Campbell. The program fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where parents play an active role in their child’s learning journey. The educators are deeply dedicated, patient, and bring an impressive depth of knowledge in early childhood development. My son has thrived in this nurturing atmosphere, building strong social, emotional, and cognitive skills while enjoying every moment. The curriculum is well-rounded, integrating play-based learning with structured activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. The parent-participation aspect is particularly rewarding, as it allows us to witness our child’s growth firsthand and engage with the community of like-minded families. The school’s commitment to fostering a love of learning, in a safe and supportive setting, has been invaluable. We highly recommend this preschool for any parent looking for a collaborative and enriching experience for their child.

  • This is a fantastic school! My child is currently attending and is absolutely thriving. This school is a great place for your child to develop a love of learning and of others while you, as a parent, participate in a nurturing community. I highly recommend CPPP.

  • We originally were signed up for the San Jose Parent Participation School, but found CPPP through our friends who attended 2022-2023. This school has a very intimate setting. There is a low child to parent ratio, and I always love hearing detailed stories from each parent because they have a lot of 1:1 time to spend with each child. Our child who prefers watching and observing, has found a lot of comfort and happiness within this school. He is often singing new songs throughout the day and there’s a joyful energy when he arrives back home.

  • My son Alan attended CPPP when he was 2 to 4 yo - from 2017-2019. What a great experience for both of us. We made friends that we still see and learned while playing new games and activities each time. The environment is safe, play based and always welcoming and cozy. I highly recommend this school to parents who are willing to volunteer and participate in the school’s life and early stage of their children’s education. A lot of fun guaranteed:)

  • My son attended Campbell Parents Participation Preschool for two years from 2017-2019. We loved the atmosphere and how they incorporated learning into all of the daily activities. Now we attend with my daughter and she asks everyday to go to school! The community that is created at CPPP is unmatched!

Yes. CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL holds California licence 430701596, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on April 6, 1994. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL hold?

California licenses CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL care for?

CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 26 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL?

California records 2 inspection visits to CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL, the most recent on May 1, 2026 and the earliest on record February 27, 2024. Has California visited CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL in response to a complaint?

California records 2 complaint-driven visits to CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL?

The licence is held by CAMPBELL PARENTS PARTICIPATION PRESCHOOL. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Santa Clara County.
