What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

We are so happy to have our daughter in Champions. It’s a place where she feels safe, valued, respected, cared for, and supported. There are so many activities, so much fun, and lots of attention to the kids every day. Summer camp is my special love story! It was even fun for me to follow the theme of the day and get ready for the different activities the teachers had carefully prepared for kids in advance. The biggest “negative” we experienced in preschool was that our daughter cried every Saturday and Sunday because preschool was closed. :)) Special thanks to Miss Nicole and her wonderful team, who truly love and respect the kids. That’s priceless! Zoe misses you so much and keeps dreaming about coming back to preschool.
Natalia WAug 21, 2025The staff at Orchard Preschool have been absolutely amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly, communicative, and they will love your kids like their own. My daughter had a rough start transitioning into the preschool environment, but all the teachers were extremely patient and kind with her and she now manages her emotions better and has learned so much from the year she spent with them. Ms. Nicole, Ms. Yoyo, Ms. Kalaya, Ms. Papia, and Mrs. Jessica always provided engaging activities and events that my daughter enjoyed. We are truly sad to be leaving them as my daughter moves on to the school age program, but I will always be so thankful to them for making our first school experience a smooth and enjoyable one.
Lizlie LoricaAug 21, 2025The staff is very attentive and always doing what's best for the kids. It took a few weeks for our daughter to adjust but teachers were always welcoming her very warmly. It got to a point where she wanted to go to school instead of staying home! We couldn't be happier. On top of that, the schedule is totally flexible and you save some money if you plan absences ahead of time.
Miguel A. VicoApr 14, 2025Where do I begin? My daughter is about to finish her second year at Champions, and the school and staff have blown me away. The attention, love, and care they give the kiddos is unreal. You can tell that they REALLY care. My daughter has grown and learned soooo much, and she loves her teachers! They truly connect with their students. Their curriculum and activities are carefully curated to meet their needs, and they get individual attention. The fun holidays and activities they do always keep her excited to return to school. Summer camp is especially filled with really fun activities! When I first was touring preschools, I got a positive vibe here that I didn't feel anywhere else. Shout out to Ms. Nicole, the director. She is so professional, kind, and caring. Ms. Kalaya, Ms. Yoyo, Ms. Poppy, Ms. Jessica.... I can't thank you all enough for the wonderful experience you have given my daughter. I am forever grateful for you all! :)
AndreaMar 20, 2025My son goes here and I love the teachers he has. They make him feel loved.

Questions parents ask about CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Is CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL holds California licence 434414560, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on June 23, 2017. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL hold?
- California licenses CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL as a school age day care center, a category that covers school-age children outside school hours. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL care for?
- CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is licensed for up to 90 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL?
- California records 2 inspection visits to CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, the most recent on March 2, 2026 and the earliest on record June 7, 2024. Has California visited CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in response to a complaint?
- California records 1 complaint-driven visit to CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for CHAMPIONS AT ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL?
- The licence is held by KCE CHAMPIONS LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Santa Clara County.
