What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • have three children who attended Children of Promise, and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. One of the teachers, Ms. D, has been phenomenal with all three of my kids—if they could have her throughout their entire educational journey, I would be one happy parent! I’ve truly appreciated the constant support and communication from all the administrators during our time here. Children of Promise is a wonderful school where you can bring your little ones knowing they’ll be cared for with genuine love and attention.

  • This school is horrible!!!, I went to a parent conference and the teacher fail my son just for missing one assignment in math all his other assignments scores were high but since they were not 100 percent she said he received a fail, I know he shouldn't be missing no assignments but one missed assignment shouldn't make you a failure. This school only care about how they look not about students. there is probably like 3 good teacher there. they always switching teachers a lot one of my kids had 4 teachers in one year and it wasn't the first time this has happened. My son is very smart he reads 100% he spells 100% he is very smart and learns fast and this Teacher has the audacity the try to tear my son spirt down and make him feel like a failure over one not two but one missed assignment and he know math well to

  • This school is a hidden gem. They truly operate as a family unit. I feel very secure in knowing my children are safe and among adults who care for the whole child. A child cannot learn in an environment of chaos & unfortunately many of us parents find ourselves and our children in turbulent times at home. This school offers a safe and secure environment that is condusive to learning. We as parents are first teachers of our children. I can't expect any school to take over my primary job. Knowing this I do have an expectation that my children are safe and secure until I return to gather my most precious gifts and continue my job as a parent.

  • I have my kids here for 5 years I'm so happy with the academic enrichment they have been provided. We, as responsible parents, should help our children with assignments at home too.

Questions parents ask about CHILDREN OF PROMISE

Is CHILDREN OF PROMISE a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. CHILDREN OF PROMISE holds California licence 197411130, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on April 8, 2004. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does CHILDREN OF PROMISE hold?

California licenses CHILDREN OF PROMISE as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can CHILDREN OF PROMISE care for?

CHILDREN OF PROMISE is licensed for up to 42 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected CHILDREN OF PROMISE?

California records 1 inspection visit to CHILDREN OF PROMISE, the most recent on July 14, 2026. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited CHILDREN OF PROMISE in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to CHILDREN OF PROMISE. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for CHILDREN OF PROMISE?

The licence is held by CRENSHAW IMPERIAL FOURSQUARE CHURCH & LIFE CHANGE. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
