What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I have 2 kids enrolled there. Great safe and learning environment. Staff are caring and enjoy being around the kids. The best part is that they help with potty training which can be stressful for first time parents. So kids don’t have to be potty trained when enrolled and will start when the kid is ready and the parents are ready. They prepare the kids for kindergarten. My son knew how to write and spell his first name.

  • Laura is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was interested in enrolling my child into their daycare. But she constantly cut me off and interrupted. Made herself seem busy and important when if fact she is not the customer. I understand having an appointment but as a parent I like to drop in because I don’t want to see you on your best behavior pretending. I want to get an accurate feel of how the school is ran. Seems to me Laura is unhappy in her job and should step down as there are plenty of jobs hiring in this community. Or she should join her Sunday service and genuinely find God. Because God doesn’t like ugly and your heart comes off as extreme ugly and unkind. Aggressive and arrogant. First impression are everything and you made an awful one for yourself and the business you represent. Shame on you. Do better. But thank you for showing your true colors. I prefer my child in a happy and positive environment.

  • Great preschool with amazing staff. I have 2 kids enrolled for over a year and they love coming here. The staff communicates well and I can tell they truly care about my kids.

  • This preschool is amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a caring educational environment for their 2 to 5year old.

Questions parents ask about CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER

Is CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER holds California licence 543801197, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on April 29, 1996. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER hold?

California licenses CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER care for?

CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER is licensed for up to 45 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER?

California records 4 inspection visits to CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER, the most recent on January 21, 2026 and the earliest on record April 25, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for CHILDREN'S ARK LEARNING CENTER?

The licence is held by FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF VISALIA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Tulare County.
