  We feel incredibly fortunate that we were able to enroll our son at Children’s Paradise in Carlsbad. We toured several schools before making our decision, and none of them came close. Children’s Paradise was our first choice, and we are so grateful that a spot became available for for our son In the eight months that he has attended, we have seen tremendous growth in his social, emotional, and educational development. The entire staff has been outstanding from the teachers and chefs to the administrative team. Heidi, the Director, and Mikayla, the Assistant Director, are always available to answer questions and address concerns with genuine care and attention. We recently enrolled our almost six-month-old daughter as well. As a parent, I was understandably nervous about placing such a young baby in daycare, but the staff made the transition so much easier. Daliah and Jessica were incredibly helpful throughout the enrollment process and provided support every step of the way. The level of communication, professionalism, and care we have experienced at Children’s Paradise has exceeded our expectations. We are so thankful to have found a place where both of our children are loved, supported, and encouraged to grow. We highly recommend Children’s Paradise Carlsbad to any family looking for quality childcare and preschool education.

  I’ve had my daughter in two different private daycares before this one, one in Little Italy and one in Hillcrest, and I don’t know if it’s because those were more “city” schools or what, but this is hands down the best preschool we’ve experienced. Honestly, one of the best in general. The teachers are great. My daughter had an amazing teacher who recently moved, which was really sad for us, but overall the staff has still been very strong. I especially want to recognize Makayla at the front and the school Director. They’ve both been incredible. They actually listen, they’re responsive, and you can tell they genuinely care. Very sweet, positive and genuine woman. Love that those are the woman around our children. If I had to point out one thing, it would be consistency with new teachers. I’ve had to repeat certain details about my daughter’s health a few times, which is something I stay on top of. It’s not a dealbreaker, because Mikayla is always on them because it’s my daughter’s health but it’s something I’ve noticed that I hope the new teachers can approve for my daughter’s class. Other than that, the level of care here is amazing. The kids are genuinely loved and well taken care of. You can see it in the little things, like snack time. There’s always a wide variety of food, and the kids are exposed to so many different options, which I really appreciate. They also have a newer, larger playground for the older kids, which is a huge plus. And even beyond that, the whole environment really lives up to the name Children’s Paradise Preschool. It feels warm, safe, and happy. One of my favorite details is the interior. It’s very clean, minimal, and calming, which I love. It just feels like a good place to bring your child every day. I’m genuinely happy having my daughter here and plan to keep her enrolled as long as I can, or until she ages out.
