What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • CWBM has been such a wonderful experience for our family. We truly enjoyed our time here and are very grateful for the care and support our child received. What stood out to us most is how professional and thoughtful the school is in practicing Montessori education. During our time at CWBM, we saw meaningful growth in our child's fine motor skills, focus, independence, confidence, and overall personality. It was clear that the learning environment helped her grow not only academically, but also emotionally and socially. The teachers genuinely love and understand children. They paid close attention to our child's behaviors, daily routines, and individual needs, and we always felt that they really knew her as a person. Whenever we communicated with the school, we received honest, thoughtful, and interactive responses, which made us feel supported and reassured as parents. We are very thankful for the time our family spent with the CWBM community, and we will always remember it warmly. I would highly recommend CWBM to families looking for a caring, professional, and truly child-centered Montessori school.

  • I really love this school. My older daughter has been attending for a year, and my younger one will be starting next week. I trust the teachers, and I can see how happy my daughter is each day. I also appreciate having access to the Dropcams, which gives me extra peace of mind. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I’m happy to give it a solid 4-star review.

  • Our time at CWBM was an absolute delight. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our children to learn and grow. Michelle and all the staff are highly qualified and passionate about early childhood education. Each teacher truly does their best to connect with each child and make them feel special and heard. The classrooms were always clean and bright. Communication was always excellent and transparent. My children were well prepared for kindergarten, and I always knew that they were safe and loved while away from home. We highly recommend CWBM to any family looking for a nurturing, educational, and joyful environment for their child. We are so grateful to Ms Michelle, Ms Pratima and the rest of the amazing team for making preschool such a special experience for my children.

  • Our daughter attended Children's World Bilingual Montessori for 3 years and would highly recommend it to all families. We love all the teachers (Ms. Pratima, Ms. Thuy, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Erika, Ms. Betty) and the Director: Ms. Michelle. Our daughter thrived with the Montessori method and Children's World is one of the few schools in the Bay Area reconized by the organization founded by Maria Montessori. We toured multiple schools before deciding and are so happy we joined the CWBM family. Thank you so much!

  • Our daughter has loved her time at CWBM. We are not heritage speakers and have always felt very welcome in the community. I really appreciate the approach to the children's emotional needs, which is aligned with gentle parenting. The school space is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the teachers work very hard and form close bonds with the students. My daughter has enjoyed the Montessori learning style but also has had lots of time to develop some close friendships. I have always felt that my daughter has been safe and well cared for, and I have loved how she has been able to choose enriching activities that spark her passion. Thank you!

  • My daughter has been attending Children's World Bilingual Montessori School for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with our decision. She joined the primary class right during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the school has provided her with a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. The teachers at CWBM are truly exceptional. They are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also incredibly caring and supportive. My daughter has formed strong bonds with her teachers Ms. Michelle, Ms. Pratima, Ms. Tuy, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Betty, Ms. Erika, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Teresa. I can see how much she loves and respects them. The school's bilingual curriculum has been a great benefit for my daughter. It’s one of the few pre-schools in the Bay area that has true Montessori certification. This is one of the key factors that we decided to enroll her into this school. She has developed a strong foundation in both English and Mandarin, and she is confident in her ability to communicate in both languages. Beyond academics, CWBM has also helped my daughter develop important social and emotional skills. She has learned how to collaborate with her peers, resolve conflicts peacefully, and express her feelings appropriately. I am so grateful for the positive impact that CWBM has had on my daughter's development. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a top-notch bilingual educational experience for their child.

Is CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI holds California licence 434413201, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on October 2, 2012. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI hold?

California licenses CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI care for?

CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI is licensed for up to 60 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI?

California records 4 inspection visits to CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI, the most recent on October 16, 2025 and the earliest on record October 5, 2021. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI in response to a complaint?

California records 2 complaint-driven visits to CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for CHILDREN'S WORLD BILINGUAL MONTESSORI?

The licence is held by BAY AREA MONTESSORI MATERIALS INC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Santa Clara County.
