What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

My daughter was at CBP for one and a half years before she started transitional kindergarten this fall. Since her time at CBP, she not only started engaging in Chinese conversations with me, but built trusty relationships with teachers and other kids at school. The Chinese and songs she learned at school remind me of many fond childhood memories in Taiwan. We’re grateful for the caring, communicative, organized and dedicated staff there, let alone the fresh breakfast and lunch prepared onsite every day and the art collection displayed around the facility. Highly recommend for a family looking for a Chinese immersion environment for their kids or even a preschool in general!
Kimberly ChenSep 8, 2025My daughter started at 2yo and was at Chinese bilingual preschool until this August when she started kindergarten. We don't really speak Mandarin at home but my daughter started finding Chinese songs to learn to sing on her own. My second kid has just started attending and I'm hoping for the same great results.
sk sAug 12, 2025My son attended Chinese Bilingual school for 2 years and we had a great experience. Teachers were very caring and patient. At home we speak English and Spanish. However, My son learned a lot of words and he can communicate simple sentences in Mandarin as well which is amazing!
Andrea CovarrubiasAug 11, 2025We have had such a wonderful experience with CBP. My child faced a lot of behavioral challenges during his time here, and the staff never once judged him or us as a family. Instead, they consistently approached everything with kindness, patience, and the genuine goal of helping him thrive. They were proactive about setting up meetings to prepare for future challenges and find strategies to best support my child. They even took extra time to meet with his therapist to collaborate, ensuring everyone was on the same page for his growth and success. The love, dedication, and teamwork from this school have made such a positive difference in my child’s life, and we are so grateful for the compassion and commitment they’ve shown. I can’t recommend CBP enough for families looking for a supportive and understanding environment.
Amy Lynn HetznerAug 11, 2025We have nothing but good things to say about Chinese Bilingual Preschool. Most importantly, the teachers are caring and I am confident that my children are well taken care of under them. In terms of hours, they are incredibly flexible, pick up and drop offs are at a timing that’s convenient to the parents. The breakfasts, lunches and snacks they serve are healthy and nutritious and it’s provided onsite. Parents are invited to watch performances during Chinese New Year and during the holidays. They hold events like sports day and Halloween throughout the year as well. My son had a wonderful experience with the reptile man one summer and it was a highlight for him. Highly recommend CBP if you’re looking for a preschool.
Ruhui LieSep 1, 2024All of our kids went to CBP, and we really can't say enough good things about the school. Teachers are always very caring for the kids, and always keep parents in the loop about their kid's growth. Kids having the chances to speak both Mandarin and English is definitely a huge benefit too. If you're looking for a school that offers bilingual experience, or just a good school that has the best heart warming teachers. This is really where you want your kids to be.

What kind of child care licence does CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL hold?
- California licenses CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL care for?

- California records 2 inspection visits to CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL, the most recent on July 15, 2026 and the earliest on record June 10, 2022. Who holds the licence for CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL?
- The licence is held by CHINESE BILINGUAL PRE-SCHOOL, LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in San Diego County.
