What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Church employees are nothing short of ridiculous. Harassing people on a PUBLIC sidewalk exercising their first amendment right. The same amendment that gives you the freedom to believe in your little fairy tale. Do not go here.

  • The church members love to exercise thier first amendment right to freedom of religion but hate when other people exercise thier first amendment right to freedom of press. They hate it so much, they accost people on public sidewalks, harrass them and even go so far as to violate the "dont bear false witness" part of the bible by making false legal claims against the very people they themselves are accosting. Big bunch of hypocrites. Go watch the video for yourself if you don't want to take my word, or if the pastor tries to reply with some comment about how I've never gone to his church. No I haven't and I NEVER would because its clear the pastors message isnt reaching his congregation.

  • We are so very grateful and blessed to be welcomed and hosted by Christ Lutheran Church each week for our in-depth Bible study. Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) desires to magnify God and mature His people through His Word - this is possible for the women and children (ages 5 and under) in our class only because of the generous hospitality of the staff and their willingness to graciously allow us to use their facilities. At Christ Lutheran Church - you can’t help but to feel at home. We thank God for his provision through CLC and our unity in Christ.

  • This is a smaller church but has lots to offer. Plenty of families as well as individuals Everyone is friendly so you feel right at home. Pastor Garrett & pastor Matt give a heart felt sersom. It's a wonderful place to worship God.

  • As a long-time member of this church, I can't say enough good things about our experience here. Our daughter has been part of this community since preschool, and it’s been a wonderful journey watching her grow up in such a supportive environment. The preschool program was fantastic, giving her a strong foundation in both academics and faith. Now, she’s older and going through confirmation, and it’s been amazing to see how her faith is deepening. The pastors here are genuinely welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and make us feel like part of the family. They truly care about each member of the congregation, and their sermons are both inspiring and thought-provoking. We are so grateful to be part of this church and look forward to many more years here!

  • I love how CLC builds my faith and has wonderful outreach. Their mission with Pastor JR and the Navajo Nation in Black Mesa, Arizona has a special connection for me and my daughter.

Questions parents ask about CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH

Is CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH holds California licence 191202176, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on October 4, 1994. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH hold?

California licenses CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH care for?

CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH is licensed for up to 92 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH?

California records 3 inspection visits to CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, the most recent on October 16, 2025 and the earliest on record April 18, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH in response to a complaint?

California records 1 complaint-driven visit to CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH?

The licence is held by CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
