Exegetical teaching straight from the Bible. A modern church atmosphere and appearance, but rooted in God’s unchanging Word and this church stands on that truth as THE ONE and ONLY truth. Unashamedly preaching to a world and city in need of the Gospel. Amazing community of people. Pastors are amazing devoted men of God. Young adults, parents and families, older folk; it’s a biblical picture of the different cultures, age ranges, and skin colors God has created to make up the church. Been going here 3 years, and won’t be leaving!

The staff does a fantastic job providing support and go the extra mile to make the experience positive and uplifting. I’ve been attending here since 2010.

Pastor Nick Reed passionately teaches the true word of God directly from the Bible. Add to that great adult, women's, teen and children's ministries as well as awesome community outreaches and missions support. I am so blessed to be a member of this amazing family of believers!

Pastor Nick Reed, being a young leader, provides enthusiasm and energy while remaining absolutely true to the word of God. Also, he is able to appeal to younger members and visitors with references to today's technology and how it impacts our lives. Come join us and you will not regret it.
George FernandezMay 23, 2016There is truely no other church like it in LA! And that's a good thing! I have been a member at this church since 2013. The preaching is straight from the Word of God, and it's not watered down. The worship music is really great and doesn't glorify the people on stage or the instruments. It's pure and lively. In addition to God's presence at City Light Baptist, The children programs and many community serving events are just a few of the reasons this church is thriving. The people are trusting, non-judge mental, and loving. This is my church, and I highly reccommend it!
Amy BullockMay 5, 2016Citylight is a wonderful place for all the whole family. They have wonderful nurseries, childrens classes and teen ministries. The church leadership are warm, receptive and helpful. It is a great place to find the true word preached straight from the bible. The Pastor is on fire for the word and makes it applicable to everyday life. There are several community events throughout the year that allows us to give back to our community. Come check us out.
