What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I went here around 2012-2014. I'm not sure if Ms. Sherry still works there but I remember her being an amazing teacher. She didn't baby us too much but still explained things very gently in a way we always understood. I also remember it being a school that focuses on kindness. Staff ALWAYS prevented exclusion and helped us all to be friends.

  • This was our first year at CRPCNS and we couldn’t be happier! It’s exactly what our family was looking for. Our daughter loves going to school everyday and spending time with her friends and being creative. Lyndsey is an amazing teacher! So patient and present in the class. The kids do so many hands on projects that we get to see and take home everyday. The space is so fun and inviting, and the outdoor yard is the best!! So many things for the kids to do and be creative in their own ways. They garden and play all sorts of games out on by the parents who work in the class. Truly such a fun atmosphere to be In. We wanted something where we were involved, especially with it being her first year in preschool and not home with us. We get to make community with the other families and also be hands on with our daughters learning and fun! We couldn’t recommend this co-op more!

  • My daughter has absolutely loved her time at CRPCNS so far. Being a part of a co-op has given us a much needed sense of community after the last few years. Parents of "covid babies" can probably all relate to the desperate need for community, not just for their children, but for themselves too. As far as the school goes, it has far exceeded my expectations. My daughter has so much fun at school every day. Her teachers are so gentle and engaging. They do food tastings, so many sensory projects, music, and more. The students go on monthly field trips to a local farm, as well as multiple other field trips all throughout the year. They also have class parties through the year and monthly playgroups outside of class. One of the joys of being in a co-op is building relationships with the teachers and other parents. I trust who my child is with everyday and I have the opportunity to check in on her progress. I love getting to work in her class one day a week and be actively involved in her first education experience. She and I are both building memories and friendships that I expect to last a lifetime.

  • I unequivocally recommend this quaint and beautiful preschool! After an absolutely terrible experience at Learning to Lean in RP we were very impressed by CRPCNS. This is the preschool dreams are made of. We could immediately tell that there is very caring parent and teacher involvement. These teachers aren't checked out and burnt out from too many kids and not enough help like most other preschools. They are kind, passionate, patient and loving. The school is incredibly clean, organized and welcoming. We were a little daunted at first before we were fully informed of how the co-op worked but it's really not a big deal. If you are unable to go one day a week there are options for you. Yes you have to participate in cleaning days but this is precisely why the school is perfection! Plus giving some of your time makes this school extremely affordable. Call and schedule a tour! You won't regret it and your child will love it.

  • This preschool is so special! Both of my kids have gone here and it feels like home to us! Miss Sherry is an amazing teacher and she genuinely loves the children like her own! This school really allows you to be involved with your child’s development and it has taught me so many parenting tools to use at home! We will always cherish the memories we made here!

  • My daughter was enrolled in the Parent & Me Program this year, and she absolutely loved Ms. Jessica. I greatly appreciated Ms. Jessica’s calm, kind and professional demeanor. Having the opportunity to attend class with my daughter was a perfect way to introduce school to her. She had a wonderful year exploring fun art projects, fine motor skill development activities, gross motor skill development activities and learning so many fun new songs. She learned new social skills and developed more confidence. Ms. Sherry who teaches the other two classes and is the Preschool Director is also wonderful. My daughter loved seeing her in the classroom and interacting with her whenever possible. She is full of fun creative ideas and communicates very well with the kids (parents as well).

What kind of child care licence does COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY hold?

California licenses COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY care for?

COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY is licensed for up to 24 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY?

Has California visited COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for COTATI ROHNERT PARK CO-OP NURSERY?

The licence is held by COTATI PARENT NURSERY SCHOOL. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Sonoma County.
