What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

We can’t say enough good things about Culver City Montessori! Our daughter has spent the past two and a half years there, and it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From day one, the staff welcomed our family with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The teachers are nurturing, highly skilled, and incredibly dedicated — it’s clear they love what they do. Our daughter grew so much in this environment, not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. Every day, she came home happy, excited to share what she learned, and full of stories about her teachers and friends. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the Spanish immersion program. We were consistently amazed by how naturally and confidently our daughter picked up the language. Her ability to understand and speak Spanish is incredible — it’s truly one of the standout gifts she received from her time at CCM. The program not only enriched her communication skills but also broadened her cultural awareness in such a meaningful way. The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between structured learning and creative play, with thoughtful activities that support early literacy, math, science, and social skills. The school also does a fantastic job communicating with families and keeping us involved, which we really appreciated. As we head into kindergarten, we feel so confident and prepared — and that’s 100% thanks to the foundation that CCM has provided. They didn’t just get our daughter ready for school; they helped her love school and learning. We’ll always be grateful for this preschool and the amazing start it gave our child. In fact, we’re so happy with our experience that we already plan to send our younger child here as well — we wouldn’t want him anywhere else! We recommend CCM wholeheartedly to any family looking for a safe, supportive, and enriching early education experience.
Marshall SmithJul 7, 2025Culver City Montessori is an amazing preschool. I've sent two kids to CCM, with very different personalities and needs, and both have thrived. My older son was in the dual immersion program and graduated in 2023. He loved the enrichment activities, especially tennis. My younger son started in the Spanish language class and transitioned to dual immersion. He has multiple serious food allergies, and the school has been careful to keep him safe, including only feeding him the foods I pack for him and double checking with me before feeding him any "special" foods, like popsicles brought in for other children's birthdays. Both kids have bonded with their teachers and made good friendships. The school also helps foster a sense of community with parents. I would recommend CCM for anybody.
Julianne PrescopJun 13, 2025Our family has been and is super appreciative of what Culver City Montessori (CCM) has taught and offered our two children through the years. All of the teachers and staff members are exceptional at providing a level of attention and care that really makes the experience special for each child. The program is well-organized, with structure, but also allowing for each child to grow into their own as they work on various developmental aspects of their childhood stages. We enrolled our eldest in the full-day Mandarin immersion program and by the time she graduated, she had learned so much, setting herself up with confidence and desire to continue to learn the language in her Elementary school. Our youngest is currently in the program learning dual Spanish and Mandarin and we love that he is exposed to multiple cultures and languages. The facilities are clean and stocked with a variety of activities for each child to be engaged. We strongly encourage any family looking for a preschool to consider CCM as a destination for their little ones to grow and thrive.
William KimFeb 19, 2025We’ve had a wonderful experience here! Our child has been attending for two years—she started with no knowledge of Mandarin or Spanish, and now she’s applying to a Spanish immersion elementary school as a Spanish speaker. She also loves Mandarin and is thriving in it! They truly teach languages here which is not the case in some language immersion preschools, and the teachers are caring and supportive. Highly recommend!
Anna OlshevskaiaFeb 15, 2025CCM has been a wonderful experience for our 4 year old son. We have been very impressed with our son’s development across his language skills, spelling, numbers, and science/arts since being enrolled this fall. We love the Spanish immersion program (and Ms Sandra)! Our son has greatly expanded his bilingual capabilities and can carry a conversation in Spanish while understanding complex topics in a second language. The Montessori curriculum really sets up CCM students to be well-advanced academically ahead of kindergarten. They have great extra curricular activities too! And Ms. Shaneel - the program’s director - is extremely knowledgeable on LA schools. She has given us excellent guidance on how to approach the kindergarten process and all is complexities. We highly recommend CCM!
Taryn MontesFeb 14, 2025Culver City Montessori Preschool’s Mandarin program has been a wonderful experience for our family. The teachers are patient, engaging, and truly care about the children’s development. The Montessori approach allows kids to learn at their own pace while naturally absorbing Mandarin in an immersive and supportive environment. I appreciate how the school fosters independence, creativity, and a love for learning. My children enjoy going to school every day, and I’ve seen great progress in both their academic and social growth. If you’re looking for a high-quality Montessori education with a strong Mandarin component, I highly recommend this school!

What kind of child care licence does CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL hold?
- California licenses CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL care for?
- CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 66 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

- California records 2 inspection visits to CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL, the most recent on July 15, 2026 and the earliest on record December 19, 2023. - The licence is held by CULVER CITY MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL, INC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
