  As one of the first students at De Colores, our son truly flourished in the small and loving environment. As his first preschool experience, it was an easy transition for both him and us. With constant and clear communication we always knew what he was and was not doing at school, the pictures were my favorite notification of the day. Activities were educational, creative, and playful. We loved the indoor/outdoor space and bright, clean environment. This spot is a gem, we feel lucky to have experienced.

  De colores is truly a wonderful and special place for children to play, learn and grow. The program and teachers have played such an important part in our son’s overall development and making this phase of life so special. Each of his days were filled with creative play, unique art projects, pre literacy activities and outside movement. Most importantly, our son was just so happy to go to school everyday and see his teachers and friends in this happy, friendly environment. Thank you De Colores!

  De Colores was the perfect place for our daughter's first school experience. We instantly felt at ease with Ms. Katie and the sweet environment she has created at her preschool. The set up is very safe, clean, creative and welcoming. I love the intimate setting and low student-teacher ratio. Katie and her staff really go above and beyond with each student and their individual needs. I really appreciated the open communication and gentle handling of my inexperienced, first-time-Mom questions and concerns. My daughter really thrived at this school! The only thing I would change is to have started my daughter here sooner. Highly recommend!!

  We found Katie and her wonderful team while visiting San Diego for an few months last year. My toddler has always loved school and he was going stir crazy in the house. Katie was gracious enough to let him attend for a a short period of time and it was just an AMAZING experience. The place is beautiful, clean, safe and in a great neighborhood. The group is small (ensuring they get very personalized attention) and the teachers are loving and caring. I was sad to leave and if we're ever back in San Diego we'll definitely be back. 100% recommended.

  Let me start by saying, we absolutely treasure De Colores! As an anxious first-time mom, I couldn't imagine leaving my precious little one with anyone – until I found this extraordinary school. What truly set them apart was their thoughtful trial day program, where Mrs. Katie went above and beyond by sending us photos throughout the day showing our daughter's smiling face and happy moments. It instantly put my worried mama heart at ease. Enrolling our daughter here has been, hands down, the best parenting decision we've made. The intimate classroom setting allows Mrs. Katie to give each child such personalized attention, while her background in education shines through in everything she does. She creates these amazing daily activities that make learning feel like play, and watching my daughter blossom under her care has been incredible. What makes De Colores truly special is how Mrs. Katie and the staff understand both the children's needs and parents' concerns. They're incredibly responsive, and you can see the genuine love and dedication they have for nurturing these little ones. Every morning when I drop off my daughter, I see her excitement to start her day, and every afternoon I hear about all the fun things she learned. For any mama feeling those daycare jitters like I did, I cannot recommend De Colores enough. The level of professionalism, care, and education they provide is absolutely top-notch. We're beyond grateful to have found this wonderful school – it truly feels like an extension of our family!

  We absolutely loved this preschool. Katie and the other teachers were super attentive and genuinely knew our baby’s individual quirks. It’s a family-like environment with professionalism on safety and the curriculum. All the toys and facilities are high end, new and clean. I would highly recommend this preschool.
