What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • If you're looking for a small personalized preschool that is montessori based and there is a small kid to adult ratio, this is it. I went here as a kid along with all my siblings. It's been around for ..40 years..? It is NOT related to the church, they just use some classrooms on church property. Ms Mitzie and Ms Ashley have put HUGE efforts into making it a nice school for little ones. It is a parent participation one (they might have other options tho, ask if interested) so how many days a month you work at the preschool varies depending how many days your kid(s) go (2, 3 or 5). 2 days usually 3 yo, 3 and 5 days usually 4-5 yo. I wasn't sold on the TK thing so we kept our son here and I'm so glad we did. He learned social skills, patience, following a routine, taking turns, listening, fine motor skills, reading and writing, kinder prep and so much more. They do field trips every other month or so which is a fun way to get the kids and parents together. There is even a nursery option so if you have a smaller baby at home you can bring them when you have to work the school. Decent amount of fundraising to help fund the school. Compared to other local schools this one is definitely affordable, especially compared to the value you are getting. I didn't trust anyone with my kids but I trust Ms Mitzie and Ms Ashley 100% and know they always have the kids best interest at heart. When we moved we tried 2 other preschools closer to our new home (mainly for convenience) but quickly learned they weren't even close to the value our kids were getting at DBCP, so we quickly moved them back. The commute is worth it. Quite a few families drive 15-20+ mins to take their kids here because they see how beneficial it is to their kids overall wellbeing and growth. Highly recommend. Take a tour, talk to current parents, bring everyone you know! Definitely worth checking out. Hurry as spots full up.

  • We love this school! DBCP has been such a great fit for our kids. Ms. Mitzie and Ms. Ashley are so attentive, caring, and welcoming — our kids genuinely light up talking about them. They really take the time to work with each child, celebrating every little milestone along the way. One of our favorite things is the outdoor playground — swings, slides, a sand pit, and more! It's honestly hard to find a daycare with that much outdoor space these days, so it's such a nice bonus. If you're looking for a place that feels safe, warm, and genuinely invested in your child's growth, I can't recommend DBCP enough!

  • DBCP has provided our child with an amazing learning experience that focuses on social development, as well as kindergarten readiness. Ms. Mitzie and Ms. Ashley are extraordinary teachers that truly care about the children's learning experience. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and taught in a way that is fun and encouraging. The parent community is very supportive and only adds to the DBCP experience. Highly recommend!
