I had a wonderful experience at East Los Angeles Occupational Center. My instructor, Ms. Sharma, was knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help students succeed. She made learning engaging and took the time to ensure everyone understood the material. Her guidance and encouragement helped me gain confidence and develop valuable skills throughout the program. The staff and learning environment were welcoming and professional, and I am grateful for everything I learned during my time here. I highly recommend East Los Angeles Occupational Center to anyone looking to further their education and prepare for a successful career.
Amanda SuzettJun 9, 2026I took the pharmacy technician program here at ELAOC with instructor Ms. Sharma over spring semester. The course was fast paced over the course of 6 months, however Ms. Sharma makes sure you are prepared and provides the resources required for your success. I highly recommend this program with Ms. Sharma she will prepare you, guide you, and make sure you are prepared to succeed in this career field.

She does a great job of preparing students for the national exam & preparing students for their externships. I enjoyed my time in her class & highly recommend this program.

They really care about the students and make sure they have everything they need to succeed. I had an overall great experience at this school and in the pharmacy technician course.

Mrs. Sharma is an incredible instructor who truly supports her students, helping them overcome fears and self-doubt while encouraging them to reach their full potential. I entered the program with many insecurities, but through hard work and guidance, I was able to grow, pass the national exam, and become PTCB certified. I am grateful to the wonderful staff and classmates I met along the way—it was an uplifting learning experience that I will always look back on with pride.
