  • At the beginning, I considered this headstart trustworthy. I believed my child would be safe and in a healthy environment. This was my child’s first experience in a daycare/ preschool. The facility is clean, there are decent teachers/ care takers that try. It didn’t take long for my little one to inform me of the big bullying problem she dealt with. Kids are kids but when they insult, name call and physically put their hands on other children (hair pulling / smacking their face/ pinching) a line must be drawn to protect everyone. After 2 weeks there, my kid was in tears she didn’t want to return due to constant stress and abuse from the other child there. Very disheartening to see how troubling this was for us. Not to mention, the children doing the hitting/bullying keep their bad behavior and get coddled by staff. The kids needing more empathy and tender care are overlooked. The communication line with these situations aren’t there either. Until you hear it from your child that’s the only way you’ll really be aware.
