First Lutheran is such an awesome preschool. The teachers really care for the children. Both of my children attended the preschool and both loved it. With both children, they told me when the kids were ready to potty train, and they were right. The teachers made what is normally stressful process so easy. Choosing a school where our children felt comfortable and safe was important for us. First Lutheran Preschool exceeded that want. I recommend First Lutheran Preschool to everyone.
Taylored PrettyDec 9, 2025Our family moved cross-country when our daughter was three, and out of all the changes we navigated, her transition into this daycare was by far the smoothest. We felt comfortable with the teachers and staff immediately, and our daughter made friends quickly. In addition to educational activities they have fun activities like dancing, sports, and arts and crafts, and learning moments like conflict resolution, responsibilities, and caring for one another. We also appreciate the well-rounded approach to building character and confidence. The classrooms are always clean and well-cared for, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely loves the children. They support learning milestones, encourage imaginative play, and create such a positive, joyful environment. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided, and the cost of care is surprisingly reasonable for the quality. We will be enrolling our infant son next, and are looking forward to watching him grow in the same loving hands. We trust the staff with the most important people in our lives! What more could you ask for? ♥️

The teachers are warm, patient, and truly invested in each child. They greet the kids with so much joy every morning, and it’s clear they love what they do. When I’m at work, I feel so at ease knowing my child is in good hands and having fun. We also love the sense of community at FLP! Can’t recommend it enough.
Melissa MacArthurDec 5, 2025My wife and I send both of our kids to First Lutheran and we have been incredibly happy with our choice of preschool. We started in the baby classroom and graduated to the main preschool and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers are so good with both kids. The facilities are clean, the kids are excited to be there, and they have great activities to get the kids to reach important developmental milestones. They do arts and crafts, dedicated playtime, and dedicated learning time too. We feel comfortable and secure having our children in such great care every day!

This preschool is great at encouraging the children to be creative, play make believe and learn/prepare for kindergarten via playing. My daughters creative self play at home is so fun to watch with the ideas she comes up with. She is learning her ABC's, social development and fine motor skills.
Devon MinsonDec 4, 2025We absolutely love this preschool! The staff is amazing, caring, and truly prepares the kids for school. My older child thrived here and tested above his age when he started kindergarten, so of course I enrolled my younger child as well. He is already counting, knows the alphabet, loves painting, and comes home excited to tell me about everything he’s learning. I also really appreciate the daily updates with photos and notes about meals, naps, and activities—it really keeps parents connected. Highly recommend!
