First Steps is wonderful! All the teachers are so loving and they do a ton of fun activities with the kids. They play yard is very large and the location is great, conveniently located just off 24 and close to Bart, but tucked away with ample parking. My son was so happy here and we were incredibly sad to move on when he aged out at 2 years old. I would definitely recommend First Steps to anyone!

We were nervous to drop her off as first time parents but she has done so well and learned so much. The teachers work really hard and we appreciate the daily reports. When she was resisting solids somewhat they were helpful to encourage her and let her take her time. They also are very quick to respond to emails whether it’s a question or concern. We don’t have family close by so First Steps has really been our village. It will be bittersweet to transition to a new school since they only go to 24 months. Their outdoor area for the kids is big with lots of toys and trees and our daughter loves it. It is so nice to see her be happy at drop off and smile at her teachers and tiny friends. For us we knew we didn’t want a nanny because we really wanted her to be part of a community, learning from other kids and a team of adults…and that has been the experience. Thank you First Steps!
Whitney Sterten-HallSep 11, 2024Our two year old spent the past 10 months at First Steps Learning Center and loved every day of it. It's a block from Acalanes High School, just off 24. They accept kids 0-24 months old. They're open from 7:30am until 6pm M-F. I think they have a few openings now (mid August 2020) but they'll probably fill up soon so act fast!
